Let me preface review by saying - i do not ever stay at Days Inn-due to the most horrible hotel experiences I have had was at Days Inn - looking at you Cleveland Airport - rated 2nd worse in country a few years back. I travel frequently so I avoid this chain.
But I took a huge chance & stayed here because I needed hotel nearby for a fishing trip. I was pleasantly surprised. Good budget hotel Very helpful, kind staff..clean room. Hot water. A nice bar - where girl even gave us free chicken wings. Restaurants nearby.
I loved the Staff.

Disappointing

Lack of cleanliness (presence of a cockroach in the room). Old. Room in disrepair. Missing food/juice at breakfast.

Nous sommes sincèrement désolés de lire votre commentaire. Toutefois, nous souhaitons remettre certains éléments en perspective pour les futurs voyageurs.
Durant votre séjour, vous ne nous avez jamais signalé la présence de cet insecte, ni à la réception ni au moment de votre départ. Si cela avait été fait, nous aurions immédiatement appliqué notre protocole, mis en place depuis plusieurs années précisément pour ce type de situation. Ce protocole prévoit notamment le blocage immédiat de la chambre, une inspection complète par notre équipe, qui est spécialement formée pour reconnaître les signes d'infestation, ainsi que l'intervention de notre compagnie spécialisée en gestion parasitaire.
C'est d'ailleurs exactement ce que nous avons fait dès la découverte de votre commentaire. La chambre a été retirée de la vente, inspectée minutieusement par notre équipe, puis une inspection complète a été réalisée par notre compagnie parasitaire. Aucune trace, aucun indice et aucune activité de croquerelles n'ont été détectés.
Il est également important de préciser qu'à la suite de nos échanges, vous nous avez indiqué ne plus être certaine qu'il s'agissait d'une croquerelle. Nous croyons donc qu'il est important que les informations publiées reflètent les faits avec le plus d'exactitude possible, particulièrement lorsqu'elles peuvent avoir un impact important sur la réputation d'une entreprise.
Nous encourageons toujours nos clients à nous signaler toute situation pendant leur séjour. Cela nous permet d'intervenir immédiatement, de vérifier les faits et, surtout, de corriger la situation sur-le-champ lorsque cela est nécessaire. The breakfast area setup needs improvement. There were no tongs to pick up the bread leaving people to use fingers. For some reason, the breakfast was set up in the bar area with gambling video lottery terminals in plain sight making it not kid friendly at all. This may even be illegal as it is in other provinces but I’m not sure. The food was good though.

I reserve 2 queen beds a month in advance. They called the day before to say that they needed to change it to a king size bed with a single bed, which we agreed because we were 3. Once arrived, we got 2 double beds, which we did not want.
The offer Continental Breakfast, not a full breakfast, I was disappointed, there are not a lot of option if you cant eat dairy product and gluten free.
