Interesting Tour

We had a very nice tour of the distillery and gift shop. Worth a stop if you are in the area. Excellent lunch in the pub which will have it’s own review.

Beautiful Inn surrounded by stunning grounds. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was incredibly friendly. Pub on site was FANTASTIC. Would highly recommend.

Nice location and beautiful grounds. Bed was very comfortable and shower was pleasant. My particular room was motel-style and was able to park the car just outside the door - convenient. Nice little patio off the back door to sit and enjoy the garden. Room felt as though it hadn't been cleaned / used recently and had a musty smell, dust on lights, and dead bugs in the carpeting throughout the room along baseboards - nothing super terrible, but nothing you should expect on a room as expensive as this one was. Staff were awesome - very friendly, informative and responsive. The adjoining pub offered a very nice meal with a reasonable selection for all including fussy children - but make a reservation or you may be out of luck!!! We travelled with two children - not a lot here for them but that said I wasn't expecting much given the clientele this hotel usually attracts. Breakfast was a true continental experience - nothing hot unless you make your own oatmeal! Fruit selection on my day was particularly poor but cold, boiled eggs along with yogourt and a wide variety of bread and pastries with coffee and tea or juice were available. Again, staff were great. Overall, a nice stay.

Beautiful location to stay and visit. If you have any mobility issues or would like to walk to dinner, try to stay at the main lodge or lower cabins and not the hillside chalets.

A Great Experience

Excellent facility and very friendly and helpful staff. Spent one evening here and enjoyed taking the tour. Very enlightening and enjoyable. Afterwards had lunch at the on site pub and experienced THE BEST Fish & Chips I've had since a child with my Scottish Grandmother. The light crust on the Haddock was textbook Scottish and 5 stars! Enjoyed the flight of whiskies as well which is well worthwhile. The room was large and the bed very comfortable.
