Warm & Friendly

Solange is a charming hostess with interesting stories about the history of the area. She serves an excellent breakfast - coffee or tea, fresh bread and rolls, various jams that she's made herself, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and yogurt, etc. Staying here is like visiting a charming old farmhouse, located right on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

A Gem!

A comfortable night's stay right at the water's edge of the Saint Lawrence with a host providing you with Quebec cuisine for breakfast? What more could you ask for. Our room, the Romeo and Juliet room, was comfortable and provided all that we needed. The mattress was excellent. We arrived during the fall bird migration and enjoyed watching the birds feed at low tide as we ate a scrumptious breakfast.

A DREAM

We slept in a century house over looking the St. Lawrence River.
The bed and pillows were perfect. The soaps were artisan. The smell of the lavender in the room.
The place was beautiful. A lot of history, antique decorations, old photos on the wall.
In the morning, our host woke up before anyone to pick fresh flowers and herbs for our breakfast.
She served gourmet breakast, 5 different kinds of breads (which she baked), Quebec cheese, cretons, fruits, pain doré, eggs, potatoes... It was more than what you're paying for.
Our stay was very beautiful! I could write a poem!

"Hidden Gem!"

What a stunning view we enjoyed while having breakfast. All the fresh food was prepared well and conversation with the owner was informative. This B & B is well worth the cost for such great service. Excellent stay!

Unbeatable view, great value!

I booked our party of four into this very nice and cozy B&B as we passed through L'Islet. We were gracefully welcomed and shown our tidy and spotlessly clean rooms. We were advised to return for the sunset, and so repaired to Town for a meal and returned with evening beverages. The outdoor area looks over a stunning portion of the St. Lawrence River and we just sat and watched as the sun set. After a very restful and comfortable night's sleep, our Hostess prepared a very fine breakfast, replete with local cheeses, jams and other ingredients. We departed full and happy. This is a very nice property and is highly recommended. Only slight issue is that parking area is not overly large, but that's it.
