The hotel is small but clean and cozy. The staff are really great!! I would stay again in the future.

Checked in/fully paid for room was checked out and resold
We had a reservation for 2 nights. On the first night we received a text from the hotel saying that the front desk was closing soon so they had checked us in and given us the key code for our room. The credit card that we had used to book the room with was charged in full for both nights and parking. Our plans had changed and we did not arrive the first night but after a 6 hour drive, we arrived for the second night.
Expecting that we were checked in as the text message had stated, we went straight to the room and used our code. It did not work. We went to the front desk to be told that our reservation was cancelled and our room had been resold (even though we had digital confirmation that we were checked in and the room was paid in full). The hotel was now sold out and we were left without a room.
We were advised that their policy is to check out the room and cancel for the second night (again even though we were digitally checked in and the room was paid in full). I have scoured their website and there is no policy or terms and conditions stipulated anywhere, including all our email and text correspondence. There was no attempt to contact us to see if we still required the room prior to the cancellation and resale of our room.
I would never trust this hotel again. I have never experienced a checked in/fully paid for room, being checked out and resold (likely for a higher rate), leaving the customer stranded. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

This hotel has no active employees overnight after 11 pm. I arrived after 11 pm and the self check-in was really smooth and easy...but when my A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the night, there was nobody I could call to help.
My room was 31 degrees the entire night and I couldn't sleep for a minute in this sweltering and unescapable heat. I was sweating through my eyes it felt like, and nobody that could help me.
After a sleepless night, the reception didn't seem to have a lot of sympathy when I checked out. I was dripping in sweat and on my way to meet clients.
The hotel gave me a 40% discount on the room as compensation, but that's not nearly enough. I would have PAID DOUBLE for a room with A/C. It was one of the hottest nights of the year and 40% off quite simply felt offensive for one of the worst and most uncomfortable nights I have ever spent in a hotel. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST HUMID DAYS OF THE YEAR AND MY ROOM WAS 31 DEGREES CELCIUS.
A full refund would have been the only way that I felt like they made me whole, which would have avoided this 1 star review.

Room was super clean and staff was super helpful upon checking in. No creepy noises at night like a lot of other hotels and the location was fantastic for going to see a concert at Canada Life Place. Parking was offered at a discount in the underground parking across the street which was also nice. Only complaint is that there was no hand soap in the room, and if there was, it wasn’t in an obvious location. That aside, it was perfect. Checking out was also very easy and quick as I was able to just send a text message to the front desk saying I left and they handled the rest

I was given a room on the 4th floor with an open concept bathroom. It was a spacious, high ceiling room in a great location. I liked how they had free candy and drinks in the lobby, modern interior design, and keyless entry. They also have a sign indicating what kind of items you can borrow or buy from them.
Only downside I experienced were thin walls, I unfortunately had loud neighbours one night. I asked reception if anything could be done and they said they’d look into it. They didn’t end up updating me but it suddenly got quiet at one point so I assume they spoke to the guests?
Overall, I recommend this hotel.
