Lovely little complex

Lovely little spot, off the highway. Close to everything in town. In front of mac the moose. The rooms are very comfortable. Spacious for 2 people. Bed was very nice as well. Only down point is finding a mouse trap on the side of the fridge :/.

Not a nice experience.

They don’t have a senior or CAA discount.
The lady at the reception counter was very curt (grouchy).
The air conditioner is undersized and couldn’t keep the room at a comfortable temperature.
The whole complex ( camp ground excluded as we didn’t use that part of the facility). is in need of painting and renovation.

Prairie Oasis - Moose Jaw

During our stay in Moose Jaw, we moved to Prairie Oasis Campground. This campsite has a convenient location, close to several attractions such as Mac l’Élan, the largest elk statue in the world, which we had the pleasure to admire during a walk. We also made a stop at the tourist office very close to the campsite.
Prairie Oasis Campsite is simple but offers all the essential services for transient travellers. However, it is somewhat dated and does not stand out for its charm or modern facilities. I consider it more like a "dodo stop", an ideal place for a short stop on a long trip.
In short, a functional and well located campsite for a quick stop, but no more.

Fine for one night of camping in our tent

We needed a place to camp for one night, as we were too tired to make it to Calgary that day. The tent sites are odd, just one field next to the highway, no fire pits or privacy at all. But the price was right (25$) showers were hot and free and there was a Tim Horton's right across the road. All in all we were there for about 12 hours and it was fine. Note, no electric at the tent sites. Staff was friendly.

Needs TLC

We stayed a night at the campground on our trek across Canada - there are not many options in MJ and would pass by next time. We didn’t find the front desk staff friendly, the park itself is older and needs some TLC. The sites are all gravel with paved roads, not much room between you & your neighbor but has mature trees. It appears the park is utilized for longer term site rentals for workers in the area.
