The location is beautiful very convenient easy access to Lake and restaurants but room ok only thing I didn’t like is that a little small and the carpet needs to be clean thank you overall it was a good experience

Worst hotel we've ever stayed at.
This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed at, and we will never, ever come back.
For some reason there is a club (a literal dance club, complete with a bouncer and strobe lights!) located inside this hotel, that is open, blasting music to its screaming patrons until 2am EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. It was so loud that not only could we hear it over the TV, but we could FEEL the bass booming through our beds and pillows when we tried (unsuccessfully) to sleep. And it didn't stop until 2am. WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS? Isn't the primary purpose of a hotel to provide somewhere for travelers to SLEEP? Can they not turn the music down? Or close the patio so that drunk people aren't outside screaming and dancing all night? I find it RIDICULOUS that they cater more to these people than the people spending hundreds of dollars per night to stay there!! (It cost us almost $900 for 2 nights!) At 1:30am my husband went down to the lobby and asked to be moved to another room, that wasn't above the restaurant. They were able to do it but not until the next morning. So we got to sleep by maybe 3am finally, and then had to move rooms, all while trying to visit with family and get ready to attend the wedding we were in town for. Fun stuff.
Also, cleanliness is seriously lacking at this hotel. In our first room I found an empty candy-bar wrapper on the floor between the bed and the nightstand, and there were a bunch of hairs on the bedding. In the second room the bottle of complimentary mouthwash was already used and half-empty. Also the fridge was so cold that it literally froze solid the leftovers we put in it, which was a fun surprise when we got back hungry late at night after the wedding! So we tried to order room service but they were out of food because "they weren't expecting it to be so busy" even though it was peak tourist season, and there were 2 annual festivals happening that weekend! (the staff were all wearing custom t-shirts for the classic car festival, so clearly they knew it was happening.)
When we complained about these things to the front desk while checking out they did remove the parking fee for us, which was nice of them. (they charge you $20 a day for the privilege of parking your car!) But they didn't do anything else. I think when my husband had to come down at 1:30am in the morning to complain about the noise they should have known that they needed to comp us or give us a discount for the hassle of not sleeping, and then having to move rooms.
All in all, this was the most terrible hotel experience we've ever had. We've traveled all over the world and stayed in a lot of places and this takes the cake for worst experience of them all! If you like sleeping, clean rooms, and good service, I strongly advise you to go literally anywhere else.

While our Barking Parrot Pub does host evening entertainment during the summer, we recognize that this can impact some guest rooms, and we regret that we were unable to relocate you until the following morning. Finding debris in the room, hair on the bedding, and a previously opened amenity is not reflective of the standards we strive to maintain. Horrible Service
Horrible service. 60 mins wait for a strawberry martini. 80 mins wait for a burger, fries and lettuce wrap. Asked for lettuce to be chopped didn't come in as chopped. Another 10 mins to just chop it. A new menu apparently so the chefs were struggling! $75 bill.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Great location and excellent coffee shops and a number of really good restaurants within walking distance. A number of local breweries close by as well so will try them next trip. The only thing and it’s a small thing but the room staff had no coffee pods to replenish for us on our stay. Odd that we needed to go down to the front desk to get 2 pods for the next morning. And the ice machine did not work so needed to go through the front desk for ice as well. This may be a way to control their inventory but felt coffee and ice are pretty basic hotel items. Always a pleasure to stay at this Hotel though.

Our time here was just ok. Some issues were, very poor water pressure in shower in one room(don't even think about washing your hair!), One room had no air conditioning, toilet had hard time flushing in another. Food was acceptable but we got better food away from the hotel. Housekeeping a bit sluggish. Having said that, the place was clean and presentable and the location was very good.
