Quite ordinary, very noisy ventilation

The ventilation is very noisy intermittently and we have little control over it. It is a very big irritant.
Functional hotel but very ordinary. Decent breakfast considering that it is free.

First the room it showed online didn't say it was second floor. It showed in pic a sliding ground floor room . I'm 73 and my purpose in my 1 night stay was a medical appointment with a internal medical practitioner. My balance is poor and I'm ashmatic . Thats the reason why I chose to stay at the Comfort Inn for a ground floor room . My wife had to carry our luggage up the steep short stairs while I struggled with my balance and ashma to get to our room . Then when we checked the morning of February 12 / 2026 . Between 9:00 -9:15 it was snowing so my wife went to move our Suv closer to the entrance to make it easier for me and the male staff came running out shouting to her that she could not park where already 2 other cars were parked so she obeyed politely and parked way from the front of the builing no where near the canopy entrance no where near the already 2 cars parked wherebshe was instructed to park on side of motel lot where no other cars were. I came out got on my suv my wif3 cleaned snow off warmed vehicle. She went to get on passenger side fell on hard ice and snow and hurt her self before even opening her passenger door. This whole outdoor very rude incident should be viewed at that date and time . I previous mentioned above . Now me and my wife need reservations to stay in Miramichi for a few days to enjoy our granddaughters sweet 16 birthday weekend family event at the end of this month and our Daughter wants us to book our stay at another. Unbelievable

Very disappointing for the price paid

We were a hockey team present for the Desjardins tournament in Rimouski, the employees we met were extremely harsh. In addition, at 2:15 a.m., we were awakened because an employee had received a complaint about noise... noise that didn’t even come from us, since everyone had been asleep since 10 p.m. He didn’t even get up from his chair to check it out he just called the rooms around the origin of the noises... very ordinary for a hotel.
Neither did management help: the assistant manager we met the next morning did absolutely nothing to resolve or excuse the situation. Simply said that the employee was known to do that...
It’s a shame because the rest is not so bad.
Beds were ok, lunches were fine.
Rooms a little frozen in time, but clean.
For a hotel over $170 per night for 3 nights, a minimum of respect and professionalism is expected.
Very bad experience. I do not recommend
