Charming Heritage Stay with Amazing Breakfast

Beautiful location in a charming heritage home, full of character and a lovely ambiance. The setting is warm and inviting, and the historic details give the place a lot of personality.
Breakfast was a standout each morning. It’s served from 8–9, and every day began with a fresh fruit and yogurt parfait followed by a beautifully cooked egg dish. Each morning featured a different entrée, and the portions were generous enough that we didn’t need to eat again for hours.
The rooms are cozy, charming, and very comfortable. If you enjoy a super soft bed (like I do), you’ll be very happy here.
What we didn’t like was the noise level. We could clearly hear other guests through the walls, and the rooms aren’t soundproof. It’s understandable given the age and character of the heritage home, but it did affect how restful the stay felt. I’d recommend bringing earplugs, especially if your room faces the main road, as traffic noise is noticeable as well.
Overall, a beautiful heritage property with an outstanding breakfast and lots of charm—just be prepared for some noise due to the age of the home..

Buyer beware. Look elsewhere

The worst stay at any b&b or hotel. Abbeymoore should not call itself a bed and breakfast in the traditional sense. The place smells, it is not staffed to greet you, and is dirty. You are basically renting a room inside an old house that is way past its prime. I booked 2 nights and left after 1. I spent my evening looking for other accommodations and left the following morning. I still don't know who actually works there as all communication is via email and nobody answers the phone. I regret wasting a day of my vacation having to stay at this place. Unless you are looking for a poor quality experience at a price that is does not match the poor quality look elsewhere. You would think that having a client check out after one night would raise a red flag but since they are not really staffed nobody reached out.

An Excellent Stay!

A great stay in a lovely comfortable apartment at Abbeymoore Manor. Super staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. A great location near to the Governor's House - beautiful leafy suburbs.
Delicious breakfasts!

Fabulous breakfasts, friendly hosts, most comfortable bed ever

My husband and I have enjoyed staying at B&Bs over the years. Each experience has been unique and every breakfast has been outstanding. Abbeymoore Manor Bed and Breakfast Inn did not disappoint. We stayed five nights in one of the garden rooms. It had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Each morning we were treated to an amazing breakfast. Breakfast started with delicious fresh fruit elegantly arranged, followed by a mouth-watering egg dish. Jeff and his wife did everything possible to make our experience truly memorable. We would give Abbeymoore 6 stars if we could, it is a fantastic place to stay.

Extraordinary bed-and-breakfast

This bed and breakfast is a real gem. It was a distinct pleasure to stay in a mansion built in 1912. Geoff was a wonderful host, and the breakfasts were outstanding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unusually pleasant experience in a bed-and-breakfast.
