Hotel close to the beach

Great hotel near the beach of Tarrafal. Great parking lot. 20 meters from the main square.
Great breakfast with island fruit juices.
Friendly and caring staff.
Hotel that also offers affordable and freshly cooked restaurant.
The only distraction, the change of sheets and bath rug not quite efficient.
Room cleaning yes. Towel change ok.
Value for money, adequate.
Would stay again

Small but nice hotel

Friendly staff and very good breakfast. The in-house restaurant is very good, the tuna on the hot stone was great. The location close to the beach is great. The house is clean and the rooms had a good standard. The bathroom is small but adequate. We had a view of the village, which was ok for us. We would definitely come back.

Great

New owners , good hotel right on the beach. Food was very good, regional specialties and very friendly staff. Definitely a “go to” tip.

4 days stay with plenty of air up

The room is large and barren, the bathroom very small and without storage facilities. You have almost no possibility to hang clothes/wet bathing suits. Room cleaning did not take place in 4 days stay. The view was sad. The location is very good. The food was very good and the staff very friendly.

Rundown and no big attention to the guests

The room is spacious and big but very rundown. The bathroom was falling into pieces, the shower water would accumulate due to wrong inclination, the towel racks are almost non existing, the tiles seem to be unfinished. The room has an AC unit that doesn't function with the termostat so it's either on or off which is annoying at night as it gets cold, then too hot, etc and wakes you up constantly. The fridge does work but the TV showed no channels at all in good condition, not even national tv. Breakfast is fresh and has an offer of bread, cheese and ham, american coffee and milk, some fruit (papaya when we were there) and some jams and butter, so very simple.
The linen had holes and wasn't thouroughly white although it seemed to be washed.
Tarrafal is very small so an easy walk to all the central locations and the best beaches we visited while in Cabo Verde.
