A decent, clean hotel.
A very clean, welcoming hotel.
Linen is clean, room is spacious, shower is good, every day toothbrushes have been changed, there are shower gels, shampoo, good liquid soap, plumbing is in good condition, towels are sufficient, bathrobes and slippers. Especially pleased with the delicious breakfasts, the serving is beautiful. Employees are polite. I liked it all.

Smíšené pocity
Personál recepce není příliš příjemný ani ochotný. Ruská babuška, která obsluhuje recepci, je neskutečná a neužitečná. Žádný úsměv v dohledu. Pokoje jsou velmi jednoduché a malé. Hotel se nachází nad hlavními dopravními tepnami Almaty a hluk automobilů se pohybuje celou noc. Hodvábná cesta má výhodnou polohu a je vhodná pro nákup supermarketů, protože supermarket Silk Way je přímo před ním. Byl jsem na letišti pověřen taxikářem a jeho kamarádem, který řekl, že mají metr a že je to všechno košer. Vyhněte se taxi, které mají 2 osoby v něm. Musel jsem vyrazit z taxíku asi 2 km z letiště, protože taxík byl falešný. V době, kdy jsem vystoupil, odečetl metr T 5000. Zaplatil jsem mu a jeho příteli T 1000 a vystoupili uprostřed ne. Naštěstí jsem dostal výtah do hotelu z "taxíku na volné noze", který mě stál T 1000. Dejte si pozor na taxikáře, kteří se k vám přiblíží, když odjíždíte z letiště a kvůli falešným taxikům.

Dobrá hodnota
Jedná se o základní levné hotel, který splnil všechny moje potřeby. Co se mi na tomto místě líbilo, bylo to, že majitelé investovali do místností spíše než na vnější vzhled nebo na recepci. Tento hotel se nachází ve starší budově, která nevypadá moc zvenčí. Přesto, pokoj byl velmi čistý a pohodlný a měl vynikající koupelna / sprcha. Personál je velmi vstřícný a přátelský. Do hotelu jsem se dostala kolem 2:30 a někdo na mě čekal. Vedení potřebuje provést několik malých kroků, aby vyhovovalo mezinárodním cestujícím. Ráno jsem se ocitla uvnitř mého křídla v hotelu. Abych otevřela vnější dveře, musel jsem stisknout malé tlačítko, které jsem nemohl najít, a na to nebylo žádné znamení. Zřejmě je to společný systém a všichni místní obyvatelé vědí, jak ji používat, ale musel jsem požádat o vnější pomoc a necítil se v bezpečí v případě požáru.

Disappointing, NOT recommended.
- The staff was extremely rude with negative body language, pretending to be least bothered about your concerns and comfort. They would roll eyes and shrug shoulders even if you highlight basics like no water in room, no wifi, electricity failure or room cleaning.
- There was no water in bathroom (both wash basin & shower area) on day 2. We had to waste until 1pm to take shower before we could go out. And no electricity for 30 minutes. There is no power back up.
- The breakfast is terrible. Its not a breakfast, its an insult to the guest. The breakfast is served in a plastic tray which needs to be picked by yourself from a counter. Breakfast includes 2-3 pieces of tiny bread & butter, 3 thin cucumber slices, 3 thin cucumber slices and butter. Cappuchino or latte is not included, you need to pay extra.
- There is NO daily housekeeping. Room cleaning is done once after 3 days. So be prepared to use the same bath towels and bed linens for 3 days. (In booking.com website, it states that daily cleaning is available).
- Wi-Fi connectivity is poor and gets disconnected often. It is NOT suitable to work from home.

Overpriced hamstercages
What you pay for this accommodation does surely not reflect the value! We booked a double room for two nights, and we could hardly fit our backpacks in the room. The attached private bathroom did not offer enough leg space to actually sit on the toilet..
we had a bathrobe, though - sadly, the “hot” water in the shower was more not really getting warm. Advertised “free toiletries” were nowhere to be found, and we had to ask ourselves to get some toilet paper.
The breakfast was a real disappointment, they didn’t even have jam (why do you call it “continental breakfast then?), we just got 2 sad slices of salami and a pot of salty porridge. I would not go here again, the rating on booking.com does not reflect the value.
