Excellent service

Had a very beautiful time. I will definitely come back. I even called my friend and family to join me and we had a very wondeerful stay courtesy of Mr Kasyoka. I just got the perfect place to be spending my time whenever am in Nairobi. The service was superb and also the rooms are excellent.

Staff were good. Condition of building poor pain peeling. The pictures online are deceiving, no maintenance. Services like wifi not available or weak. Night shift not responding to calls. Breakfast simple and not continental as described.

Surprising locale

Surprised such a place existed in that locale. We were there for the afternoon. Had a very nice lunch - especially the fried goat meet which was well done. Unfortunately the food took a very long while to prepare including the kids options. This was not brought beforehand like in typical restaurants. Really dampened the mood since people were hungry. Recommend being ready for at least a two hour wait when you go there.
It also rained - we moved to the bar area which was pretty cozy. The steps at the entrance area are however relatively slippery when wet.

High expectations...poor experience

Problems started from the word Go.
Google Maps coordinates landed us in a farmhouse, we had to seek directions from the residents. This problem was experienced by at least 10 other guests.
There was no water for the better part of the day(broken down pump) and the staff did very little to remedy the situation, including flushing the toilets.
The most depressing part was the room; dark, dirty linen (i had to replace my bedding on the first night), uncomfortable mattress....
The water in the bathroom was merely a trickle and the best i could get was a warm shower after running the taps for 10 mins... Did i mention the water was dirty? The guests were used bottled water to brush their teeth.
The wall paper in the building was also falling apart with no attempt to fix it..
The free wifi kept losing signal, it was a lot easier to tether my phone.
The food selection was good, quality was however average.
