Great experience

I liked my stay there. Excellent staff. Good quality cuisine. Clean room. freshness all over. Will come back again. The staff was supportive. The food was fresh. The buffet breakfast was memorable and the dinner was hot and delicious. The manager was outstanding. It was my first time there and i enjoyed everything. Maybe they should have indoor entertainment, like a local musician singing Rhumba or Benga or cool Mugithi, not the noisy one. I paid using Visa card or mpesa. A good deal

Uncomfortable

Had a sleepless night here.mattresses too used and therfore have a big depression and thickness markedly reduced.infact had back pain after sleeping there.too expensive for such bad comfort.rooms too small nd congested.breakfast was okay.guys brought food that i had already refused them not to.explained to them again at breakfast time and brought the oposite.kindly improve on your services

A good place for the tired traveler

II tried Kirimara Springs Hotel out of curiosity from the reviews I had read online about the it and also from what the hotel's website has to say about it. On checking in, the manager on duty promised us a restful night and a heavy 'English' breakfast the next morning.
Well, the night was not so restful, since the hotel is on a busy highway and so traffic noise is an issue if you are a light sleeper. The room we took happened to have corridors on two sides and so noise and people walking outside was a problem. The bathroom was clean but the use of an old ordinary curtain made it look otherwise. The use of opaque glass would be a good choice.
The T.V turned out to be an old analogue model with very poor transmission. If you are a news person, then you will have a lot to catch-up with later.
The rooms have a tired old look. A new coat of paint over recent repair work would be on order. As an example, the room we took had had its ceiling recently repaired. Sadly nobody had seen the need to paint the board. The bedside lamp had no bulb and so you needed to go all the way to the switch at the door to put on or off the light.
The meals were good and fairly priced. The staff are friendly. The manager on duty on that day, Mr. Odiero is a man who goes out of his way to make you feel very welcome. He will sincerely inquire about your well-being. You could see that he was a leader who led his group from the front. He is very hands-on type of manager. Well, I don't know much about 'English' breakfasts but the breakfast we were served the next morning did not disappoint. It was balanced and nutritious with a variety of foods and drinks to appeal to the local as well as the foreign traveler.
But for some of the small issues which the hotel can fix at near no cost, this is a friendly budget hotel you can consider when you are in Nanyuki.

Home away from home

We had great time and peace of mind all staffs are so friendly. And the meals are delicious. Looking forward to be back soon. While having another hiking my my team to mount Kenya. Its the best place to do a stop over for a night before hiking. The rooms have a nice view of mount Kenya.

Below Average

i stayed for 1 night but did not really enjoy my stay, but the view in the morning of mount kenya was amazing. Did not really enjoy the food and the staff some are friendly some are rude. not going to stay here again
