An excellent experience

We had a second stay with Kicheche Mara North In late January of this year as we had enjoyed our previous visit so much. The team headed by Andrew were, as we remembered, efficient , knowledgeable and thoughtful. Unfortunately while we were there my Mother passed away in the UK, not unexpectedly. I cannot praise the team highly enough for their kindness and flexibility at this time, I am afraid it is all a bit of a blur in places so I am not able recall names - but the cover manager was wonderful and the lady who manages the tents so warm and kind - a huge is belated thanks you to all of you, Our guide was very good and we had excellent sightings of the big cats - and he knew his stiff about the birds and flora as well. All in all another brilliant experience and gave huge confidence that is anything goes wrong at home the staff here and our agent - Monic from Africa Private Safaris were right on hand to offer support and change any arrangements is needed

40th Wedding Anniversary

we were met at the airstrip by a friendly staff member we were driven back to camp but on the way stopped off at various places to see the animals ,when we reached the camp there was a welcoming group of staff and gave us a really lovely welcome and a refreshing drink . Anita the relief manager took us to a table and told us about the camp afterwards were show the tent we were staying in it was amazing . everyone of the staff were so friendly and very helpful nothing was to much , food was great . Dixon our Safari guide was so knowledgeable of the Masai mara and we got to see so many animal up close .its hard to pick out any members of staff to mention as they all did a wonderful job in front of house and the people behind the scenes well done to everyone there for making it a memorable stay . they even gave us a special night we had a special table laid up for us for dinner and gave us Champagne to celibrate with

Outstanding, just book it!

Hard to explain how amazing this place is. From the moment I was met at the airstrip to the farewell I was made to feel very welcome and all the staff were fantastic, but special shout out to my guide, Dickson!
The tents were amazing, so comfortable. As in general around the camp, there were so many thoughtful touches, the hot water bottles in the bed when you got back after dinner and handed to you for the early morning game drives. The morning wake-up drinks in a mug you can take on the game drive. Checking what drink you want for a magical sun-downer on your evening game drive. The amazing food.
The area around the camp itself is beautiful, and the wildlife, of course, is fantastic - won’t ever forget the lion cubs and cheetah cub with her mum feeding on a kill.
Didn’t notice a single mosquito whilst here in March.
If you’re thinking twice about booking here, don’t! You won’t regret it. A little bit of paradise.

Would recommend 10/10 times

What an amazing camp to stay at! This was our second Kicheche camp of the trip, and it didn't disappoint. The Kicheche network has proven to be an amazing place to stay - from locations, guides, experiences, accommodations, people, food, and everything else. When arriving at the airport for the stay at this camp, the bridge to drive to camp was flooded badly and they couldn't get people in/out of the camp by road. With so many people checking out and arriving, they did everything they could and got people to/from via impromptu helicopter ride, to ensure that everyone could continue their trips as planned.

Take me back!

What a dream! Kicheche has blown me away, yet again!
We were there during some heavy rains, but Kicheche took precautions and made sure everything was taken care of. We had rain boots ready, and Lucy made sure our room was good to go. The entire team was so attentive and hospitable. They were truly amazing!
