My favorite hotel in Cali

Amazing check in by Karen at reception. Nice room with all amenities. Excellent housekeeping and wonderful club lounge. Good 5 stars breakfast. Good service from Christian and Andres at the bar

Aging hotel and lousy guest services.

I have never had a good stay at this hotel and this review is aimed at the dismal customer service of both the hotel and the restaurants. But this time it also adds to the quality of the facilities that should lead the franchise to review if this particular hotel is up to the Marriott brand or should recategorize it to a lower level as a Courtyard. The air conditioning is noisy and the phones old and damaged. But the worst is the restaurant. Totally unfamiliar with the customers we were at the time, which because it wasn't rush hour doesn't explain why the delay in serving something as simple as a soda with lemon. I ordered a meal and after 30 minutes I hadn't arrived and the waiter was nowhere to be seen. It was my turn to stop by the front desk to tell them to load the drinks into the room and cancel the meal order. They didn’t give a damn, not an answer, not an excuse, let alone a solution. I am a frequent Marriott user and I am very clear about what I can expect from this hotel. Pathetic hotel.

Superb stay with excellent personal service

As Marriott Lifetime Titanium, I spend about three months a year in hotels. For both business and personal travel, Cali Marriott is consistently the top hotel in Cali, Colombia with excellent personal service from their friendly and responsive staff and management. Many of the staff speak and understand English. The chefs are happy to cater for any special requests, front desk staff is one of the best, with check-in quick and friendly, and housekeeping is always very good. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Great location, just around the corner from a luxury shopping center (Centenario Mall). The entire property is spotless and the staff is always cleaning. An ideal place for lunch, dinner or corporate meetings, I hold many events here. The buffet breakfast every morning is delicious, highly recommend. Compliments and thanks to Cali Marriott, I’ll return soon.
