Love it

We stay there just for 1 night but it was excellent. If we want they set you up a taxi to take you to airport. Just in same place there is a restaurant that you can enjoy some beers and traditional Colombian food. We love the place simple but all expectations were good.

Overpriced

Stayed here the night before I left Medellin because I wanted to be closer to the airport, but in all honesty, my hotel was way nicer, quieter, and included free breakfast buffet in Medellin. The Hostal El Hanger was more money, no free breakfast, the internet was slow and the location is SO noisy. Obviously there’s the airport noise, but this place is located along a busy highway, and in between a gas station and a restaurant. Plus the washrooms for the gas station is next to the rooms, and the restaurant pumps loud music outside. With the airport bus that leaves Medellin every 15 minutes, and the new tunnel open now, you are at the airport in less than half an hour, for $3. There really is no reason to stay in these tin box rooms and get no sleep

Late at night is good for short sleepers

Like many sites in Colombia sleeping Can be a daunting task, at this hostal , even house keeping starts to listen to Regueton while you sleep in the Morning. Their linen appears to be clean for the price I guess it’s ok. The bathrooms offer hot showers and soap. Blankets for sleeping are warm but small, good for an overnight sleep.

free transport to the airport at 4:00am, Nice hot shower, TV doesn't work

・午前4時に空港まで無料で車を出してもらえた（車で2分）
　言葉が通じないので不安はあったものの、筆談で約束の時間通り車を用意してもらえた
・シャワーは、温度も水圧も十分
・部屋は簡素ながら、清潔
・併設のレストランあり
・空港利用のため、寝るだけなら十分だと思う
【イマイチな点】
・テレビが映らない
・ドライヤーがない
【その他】
・アメニティは石鹸のみ。ホステルだし、あるだけましかな？
・スペイン語のみ

Good Value

My room was very clean and fairly quiet (hard to find in Colombia). If you need somewhere near the airport for a night, El Hanger is a good option with helpful staff. Only a 10 minute walk to your terminal as well.
