It felt like spending time with my most beloved family

The single best experience I’ve ever had travelling! Jason and Gloria went way out of their way to show us around. During our stay, all guests ended up extending their stay, us included, as the atmosphere is absolutely incredible! Jason has an incredible way of bringing all guests together and creating a family. He clearly does it for the love of the game rather than for reviews or money. They would drive us to different spots and spend the day with us just to make sure we don’t get “gringo:ed”. And Gloria a.k.a La Patrona is the most adorable and helpful person I’ve met in ages. The hostel itself is an absolute gem, but Jason and Gloria made our stay unforgettable.

Oasis in the middle of a Santa Marta

Kaia Hostal has been absolutly relaxing and beautiful. The Staff is very helpful and friendly, the surroundings are filled with love and spirit. For people who seek some quite in all of the Buzz, this is the place to be. The hotel is a bit off the centre, but with a local bus or taxi you are there in a moment.

Enjoyed our stay!

Brilliant hostel! Loved our stay. Great breakfast, staff and facilities. We spent a day on site chilling in the pool, in hammocks and playing pool/table football. Also facilities to make your own food. Not the best location but easy access to the bus stop. Highly recommend!

My experience with Hostal Kaia

You have really picked the right hostel to stay at! The owner and the staff are super chill and nice. The breakfast is really tasty and the location is not so bad either, you have to take a taxi to the center but that will only take ten minutes! The beds are also very comfortable so the price for all of this is perfect!

Beautiful hostel

This hostel is absolutely beautiful making you feel like you're hidden somewhere in the jungle rather than in a large city. It is easy to entertain yourself in the common area with both the table football and pool table. And the room was very spacious and having 2 stories and a balcony felt like luxury, especially for such a cheap price.
