Amazing hostel like Homestay!

I arrived at GOT Hostel in Pristina, thinking I would stay for 1-2 nights but two weeks later I am still here. This family-run hostel is not the best I've been in Kosovo, it is one of the very best in the entire Balkans. It's located in the old part of Pristina, 3-minute walk to bakeries and cafes and 10-minute walk to Old Town, city centre, The house is super spacious, comfy, and sparkling. The rooms and beds are comfortable. There is a family living room with a free tea and coffee corner, two shared kitchens, and three bathrooms, a total luxury for travellers. I have been welcome like family. Over the past two weeks, I've had the opportunity to join their various day tours to their family village in the Drenica Valley where the Kosovo War began (and where unfortunately their family members got killed), Mitrovica (the divided city), and also a history tour going through the battlefields and memorials of the war, and an archaeological tour visiting sites dating back before Roman times. Words cannot describe the wealth of information and experiences and above all the generosity of the Bunjaku family. For me, this hostel is better than a five-star hotel. Highly recommended!

Memorable, meaningful experience in a family-run hostel

This hostel is a truly special place because of the family who runs it. I highly, highly recommend that you not only stay here, but that you join one or more of the day tours offered by your host, Malsor. I cannot even tell you how rich and interesting an experience I had because of the information and sights in the day trips Malsor has designed. After traveling through the Balkans for a month, I feel that in three short days, I understand Kosovo better than I understand any other country I visited here, and that is for one reason: the amazing work being done by Malsor and his family at GOT Hostel to bring the country alive for visitors in their warm hospitality and meaningful day tours.
