Good location

Stayed here for three nights with a group. Each room is very different in size. 105 and 204 were large. Great location - few minutes from the centre of town, clean, quiet.
Bedding was odd- a bottom sheet and a woven cover, no top sheet! Bins weren't emptied daily in rooms.
Breakfast was slightly different each day but always had bread, salad stuff and egg.
The foyer has photos of what Prizren used to look like before the earthquake

Don't waste your money.

Absolutely do not choose this place. The mattress under the pillowcase is terrible, the rooms smell like sewage, you sleep in that smell, and on top of that, they deny it and say it's bleach, and you're treated like an idiot. Breakfast consists of 3-5 items on a plate, and even those are moldy. They said there was parking, but there isn't. There's no elevator, you're exhausted climbing the stairs with your suitcases. They ask for more than the price you booked, and you end up having to argue about it. Oh no, we got burned, don't let yourselves get burned too.

Handy location

A good enough hotel in a great location. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable but the only negatives were the shower was hand held and around the bottom of the toilet was leaking. It wasn’t a big deal because I was only there for a couple of nights. Staff were friendly and the breakfast wasn’t bad, located in the basement area.

Clean and Central, a Little Road Noise

I’d booked a room with a balcony but was originally shown to a very large, family room with no balcony. The lady didn’t speak any English (the man who I assume is her husband does) but I made myself understood and she moved me to the room next door which had a large balcony overlooking the road and river, it was directly above a bank ATM office. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfy but only had a thin sheet- not a problem in the 35° heat and luckily the ac worked well. The bathroom was small with a shower cubicle and I can only assume the shower was fitted by a 7 foot tall man as I’m 5’11 but the unadjustable spray went way above my head! Other minor negatives were not having a fridge and patchy wifi. However the main problem wasn’t to do with the hotel, it was noise from the road at the other side of the river. I prefer fresh air to ac but it was impossible to sleep with windows or door open due to noise from the young men of Prizren, who,like most Kosovans, like to think they’re F1 drivers. They fit huge exhausts to their VW Polos and tear around town till late at night. Apart from that, the balcony was great for people watching. The hotel is on the edge of the old town with views down the river and is 5 mins walk to dozens or bars and cafes. The town was very busy in late July but the hotel seemed quiet until the weekend. I paid €45 which I felt s little expensive for Kosovo but from what I saw it’s probably one of the better hotels in this pleasant tourist town.

Good location, no humility

Spent one night at Hotel Cleo. As I was leaving at 8 am following day, I checked with the staff if the breakfast can be served earlier (it’s served at 8). They could not but assured me it would be ready at 8. Following day, they changed it to “the cook will arrive at 8” but that she was late so there was no saying at what time the breakfast would be served.
The facility is decent but hairdryer was not working and the pillows were big and uncomfortable.
