Dream place, surprised us. We didn't want to leave.

Hotel and destination that tremendously exceeded our expectations. What a cozy, comfortable place, surrounded by nature, close to the beach. At first I had doubts about a couple of comments I found on tripadvisor; but nothing to see. Roberto was an exaggeratedly kind person, always attentive, and ready to help us. Playa Carrillo beautiful, and we found the best place to stay. It is not a swanky place, but no luxury is needed, because its facilities are very well made, spacious balconies, spacious room and bathroom; new facilities and in excellent condition. The restaurant offers spectacular dining and the view is unparalleled at any time of day. Enjoy watching the sunrise and in silence watch the birds, and other animals. What a prize to see red macaws fly every day in the forest that can be seen from the balcony, I have never seen them fly free in their habitat.

A place to feel good and relax

Beautiful accommodation in our Costa Rican holiday. The rooms are furnished with great love and taste, the furniture and bathroom high quality, all super clean and well maintained. We had a room with sea view and were blown away! Breakfast is delicious, you can choose from four options. We didn't miss anything. Roberto runs the hotel with a lot of love and dedication and was always available for us. Again and again, thank you for the great time!

The Worst hotel.

My experience at this hotel was highly unsatisfactory. The customer service was subpar, with staff displaying a lack of professionalism and courtesy toward guests. The cleanliness of the establishment was inadequate, as the bed linens were not properly maintained and were covered in sand. Additionally, unauthorized entry into the room was a serious concern. The hotel offers no amenities, aside from a neglected and unclean ping-pong table. The parking area is poorly organized, and the building’s low-quality construction results in excessive noise disturbances during the night. Based on these factors, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Best B&B in Playa Carrillo

Roberto and Mariabelle took such good care of me I didn't want to leave! Beautiful views wonderful breakfasts, and a comfortable room, was all the introduction I needed for my first trip to Costa Rica. I would highly recommend this B&B! it only took three minutes to walk to one of the best beaches in Costa Rica: Playa Carrillo.

We surely cant be the only unhappy customers..?

WE arrived having booked on the basis of reviews on booking.com and some excellent clever photography. We cancelled on the spot. I am writing this review because now, I can no,longer trust reviews. Yes the hotel is the closest to the beach, its the worst pat of the beach and its down a steep hill. I understand it has a brilliant rstaurant thats very popular. Diners would have to pass by the corridor where the bedrooms are, the walls are very thin. Piped music is played non-stop. The owner was very ungracious but he did accuse us of 'having seen the photographs' This is not a 3 star hotel. We moved on for some sweet moments to El Sueno.
