Prettiest place, Kindest people!

My sister and I spent some time travelling Costa Rica last summer, this was by far our favourite place to stay (so much so that I feel the need to write a review almost a year later!). The service was spectacular- the staff really did go above and beyond. The food was incredible, and I don't think I'll ever see a hotel as beautiful as this one again (until I come back of course). The owners made us feel like part of the family for our short stay, and I still remember how kind they were to us.
The surrounding area is lovely, it's extremely walkable and there are several lovely nearby restaurants/cafes if you'd like a change and the nearby shops stock almost everything you could need.
If you're looking for adventure in the most picturesque place, with the kindest people, Hotel Los Jardines de Monteverde is the place for you. Cannot recommend enough!

No AC, not needed, well ventilated, big ceiling fan. HUGE room, saw several parrots and other beautiful tropical birds out of the window. Fantastic staff, they were able to help us clean our laundry for a very low price. Great food! Perfect for families-gorgeous little find in the mountains for the price. Very worth it.

Charming hotel with very good service

A charming hotel with excellent service, especially from Dayson at the reception. Very good pizzas. The room was clean but quite worn.
Several good restaurants within a short walking distance.

Friendly hotel with perfect location

The location was perfect at the end of a road above the village. The owners were very friendly and chatted with all the guests. The pizza was as good as in Naples Italy. The room was huge we had a wonderful view of the mountains the sea and the sunset.

The excellent staff make this hotel special!

Dayson and the staff were welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Rooms were clean and the location was close to galleries, restaurants, supermarket and coffee shops. The view from the lookout above the pool is incredible! I recommend the pizza from the restaurant on site.
