Best of Havana
There are no words to describe how exceptional my experience with Tamara and Gustavo was. They were a beautiful discovery, two incredible people, nice, cheerful and both artists. They helped us in everything that was possible in our stay in Havana and beyond, and the conversations we had with them on the wonderful terrace of the apartment opened up new worlds to us about Cuba.
The house is cared for in every detail but what makes it special with the two of them is Yeni the person who helps them in organizing, preparing breakfast, dinners and house cleaning. Yeni is the person you would like to have by your side when you wake us up in the morning, always smiling, friendly and kind. It will prepare for you the best breakfasts in Havana.
To conclude, if you go to Havana do not opt for any place other than TamGus, it will make your stay in Cuba better.

Clean, safe colonial style house with wonderful hosts! ABSOLUTELY recommended!
Beautiful colonial house, large, clean rooms, new bathroom with hot water, incredibly hospitable hosts, delicious breakfast and dinner, the area is very beautiful and centrally located, Tamara and Gustavo help with everything: going out, shopping, taxi,... We enjoyed it immensely and are already looking forward to the next time. Thank you for everything!

A special house
Hello, I was there twice in the month of April, the welcome from the owner of the house was very warm, the room is very cozy and clean, like the bathroom, the bed and the pillows help you have nice dreams, the owner The housekeeper is very nice, as is her husband. During the time I was there, breakfast and dinner were delicious. On those days they made me feel at home.

Fantastic place to stay in the Vedado!
We had the most fantastic stay at Tamara and Gustavo's beautiful apartment in the Vedado. It is a dream place, perfectly located near Avenida 23 and all transportation and a few blocks away from the fabulous Fábrica de Arte Cubano and its trendy restaurants.
The neighbourhood around is quiet, very green and like an open-air architecture museum, you can stop admiring every single facade. As for the apartment, it is beautifully furnished, has a wonderful covered terrace where Yeni's delicious breakfasts are served, a large and beautiful bedroom with nice linen and furniture, airco, a fan, and finally a great bathroom. Everything is amazingly clean, Yeni makes the room and cleans everyday. What more can you ask? Really a five-star service.
As for the owners, they are as fantastic as their apartment: warm, welcoming, interesting, generous with their time and help. And Yeni, the person who works with them, is a wonderful person as well, extremely professional and warm.
We were really sad that we had to leave and are already thinking of when to return to this place. Thank you so much once again Tamara and Gustavo for your wonderful hospitality, we hope to see you again very soon! Léa and Frédéric

An oasis in Havana Cuba
Had a great stay at this little guesthouse, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Havana. The old town is close enough to be reached by foot 30 mins or so, or a short taxi ride. We did both as there is so much to see en route, and took taxi during the nights.
As a repeater to Havana and Cuba, it was a great experience to meet the hosts who really took time to give advise and provide unbiased information. Moreover, they are really interesting and well informed hosts whom you trust at first meeting.
The best thing about this place is the relaxing terrace and the quiet bedroom. It’s an Oasis waiting for you at the end of your day in Havana or your sightseeing excursions. The breakfast is a must for all travellers staying here.
I recommend jumping on the red double decker tourist bus, even though you might not feel like the type to do this. You get to see so much and it’s stops a few blocks from Tamgus. It will set you back CUC 10.00 but you will have a great overview before you start exploring Havana.
I will definitely stay here again!!!
