Rustic and relaxed in wonderful surroundings

It is a large, rustic complex surrounded by greenery, picturesquely situated in the Memel countryside and allows for a lot of leisure activities. A few kilometers away is the border with Kaliningrad with Sovetsk, the former Tilsite. From the river you can look over to the other side while hiking. In the immediate vicinity are picturesque small towns and the Rombinus National Park on the Lithuanian side.
The decor is rustic-wooden, the kitchen down to earth and good, there is a pretty terrace outside where we got into a lively conversation with other guests. The water is produced from its own source, so it smells "iron" in the shower. We had a room with two double beds, so there was plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable. For nature lovers and those interested in history, the visit is definitely worthwhile!

Excellent

Just happened to stop here for the night on our way to Klaipeda. What a bit of luck! We arrived late evening and were greeted with friendly staff who accommodated our late arrival. Our dinner started with the most delicious Lithuanian fried bread with cheese sauce. We followed the waitress’s recommendations for dinner and were very pleased. Our accommodations were excellent. Our rooms were very done in the old Lithuanian style and were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of good food on our plates. The owner of the hotel greeted us and shared his amazing story with us. A very interesting place. It was quiet with lots of fresh air, old-time farm instruments on display, very friendly people and the price was right. Oh, and loved their own honey. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Overpriced

went for a meal but when we saw prices decided just to have coffee and snacks and eat somewhere else. expensive for a place in the middle of nowhere.Nice surroundings but Lithuania full
of similar places.Friendly service.Nothing really for vegans or vegetarians on the menu.

Food and customer service

Horrible customer service,we was waited 2 hours for our food,no ones didn't come to tell us what was going on with our order and what we need to wait so long. Staff was very rude even not apologies what we needed to wait so long. Food for that price not worth. Never again would be back in this place

Great find for a quick visit

We were delighted to find this place by accident on a visit to Rambyno Kalnas. We were looking for a place for a stop and a coffee and weren’t disappointed. We had some of the 2 freshly made cakes and 2 drinks, all for under 10 euro.
It’s an idyllic setting, greenery, pond, old hall with beautiful fittings. Toys indoors and swings outdoors to entertain young kids.
Would recommend to anyone visiting the area
