Too bad that this Pension without so often complete.

Excellent gourmet stay on a Weekend. Meals and impeccable wine selection. Wines included in the Award of stay. Breakfast quality. Impeccable service.
A small fear is that the previous owners will
soon to retire and the young successors have yet to learn some basics of the trade. When we went there, if we hadn't had the old boss for the evening food service,
We would have opted for the map. Fortunately, a miracle due to his intervention has made things right and we have never eaten so well. We wanted to go back before the end of the year, so good we had been during this stay. For my part, I've been at this Pension for over 20 years. I had never been disappointed by this establishment unfortunately, a few days after we returned, I received two or three lawsuits for speeding at the GD. Lux. I understood that when the sign said 50 KM I had to travel at 35Km/h. and when it said 70 Km, I had to travel at 55 Km/h. just like the Grand Ducaux.

Big disappointment

A dated hotel with rock hard beds and carpeted floors in the room that needed replacing years ago. Showering is done in the bath behind a shower curtain. Little has changed since the 1970s in the interior. Breakfast is mediocre, coffee poor and can be from 8.30 to 10.00. For a hotel frequented mainly by hikers walking the Mullerthaltrail, that is on the late side. The kitchen is of very limited quality and there are only 5 main courses on the menu. We thought a cheese plate would be delicious after the walk but no, that is only possible after 7 pm because the kitchen closes after lunch and reopens at 7 pm. Then you don't need a cheese plate. On Mondays and Tuesdays the hotel is closed anyway and you can't order anything on the terrace. It is a mediocre three star hotel while they present themselves on the website as a great four star hotel

Extremely friendly, but not really

Just had a huge disappointing lunch. Extremely friendly, dirty placemats are placed on the table. Followed by a Flammkuchen that oozes fat! And that in a prime location!

Can do better

We were always delighted with our stay under the direction of Rita and Philippe Stoque-Kunnert. Gourmet meals , ideal stays, friendliness of Rita and great cusine of Philippe. Permanent presence and reception of
owners. Unfortunately, our stay from July 4 to 7, 2025 disappointed us a little. New stewardship and unsatisfactory gourmet cuisine except the day of Rita's visit (we are customers of the establishment since pujis over thirty years and we have simpathized). If we had to give advice to the current manager, it is to show more often to customers at meals for example and especially the gastronomic cusine would be improved. The service is impeccable and to customers, I advise to choose the view of the courier and not the street, too bright.

Nicely located, quiet hotel with welcoming service.

Hotel in a nice building, with a nice location. The staff was welcoming, professional, and also well approachable for questions. The interior of the room was somewhat corny, but well clean.
The food in the restaurant was good, they have a creative menu, an extensive wine list and also the cocktails are recommended. The breakfast was fine. The service in the restaurant was very pleasant.
The immediate area is very quiet, and a perfect base for hiking several trails in the beautiful Luxembourg nature. Among other things, the nearby Müllerthal waterfalls are recommended. But for those who like the hustle and bustle of the city, or are looking for something more ‘turbulence’; both Luxembourg city and picturesque Vianden are less than half an hour away.
A good, quiet hotel with committed service and beautiful surroundings.
