Welcoming and culinary highlight!

Very pleasantly surprised by Luxembourg in general and this hotel in particular! The brothers who run the hotel are extremely customer-friendly and also have extremely friendly colleagues, both in the cleaning and in the service. The fact that we could book an extra night was the dessert on the cake! Wonderful base for activities! We will definitely be back!

Unkempt, dirty

Reserved via a Bongo voucher we had received as a gift.
Were pushed into a corner on the other side of the village. Room was dirty, this reported to reception, and they were going to send someone. Someone came, but it was still a little dirty. Crumbs on the table, dust on the bed and bedside table, grease stains on the kitchen table, towels were like sandpaper,...
Are well and friendly, the staff does their best to speak different languages and to understand you. Dinner was very successful and tasty.
Businesses can choose whether to engage with Bongo, if you choose to do so, you should give people a pleasant experience, and not push them into a corner!
The sauna was basic, no fitness, solarium, massages available, as they say themselves.
The pictures were taken AFTER the cleaning service had been after my comment...

Nice stay in the beautiful Mullerthal

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Dimmer. Not in the main house itself, but in a holiday home that also belongs to the hotel. If you rent a holiday home at Hotel Dimmer, please note that it is about 1km steps from the hotel to the cottage. Of course you can park your car at the cottage. Funny detail: check-in is done at the hotel itself, which is located in Luxembourg. Breakfast is there too. But you sleep on the other side of the Sauer, in Germany. The cottage was quietly located, on an old trout farm along the Sauer. Very quiet at night! It was clean, had a sitting area, a dining table, a kitchen, a bathroom with good shower, and two separate bedrooms with 1 double bed each. Also a terrace, but because of the season we did not use it. We slept well there. To have breakfast it was back to Luxembourg. A rich breakfast buffet, something for everyone. We found it a nice stay, in a beautiful region - the Mullerthal is so beautiful and there are countless very well signposted walks. We will be back!

Fabuleux

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Dimmer, in one of their cottage located 2-3 minutes drive.
This one was perfect: 2 bedrooms, kitchen-living-room, bathroom, terrace.
It was clean, comfortable, pretty and nothing was missing!
The breakfast was delicious, with a great choice!!
We also ate 2 nights at the hotel restaurant, it was absolutely succulent! With fresh and local produce.
The staff were also very attentive and really warm and friendly!
The hotel is also very well located for various activities and hikes.
Thanks again to Jean-Paul and Francis for this fabulous stay, we will return with great pleasure!!
