THE place to stay if you have kids and need a hotel near the airport, and best breakfast we had in Mada and

THE place to stay if you are travelling with kids and you need a place close to the airport.
+ It's a family owned hotel, so they're much more flexible. They were willing to cook us lunch and dinner at odd times if we missed mealtimes due to arriving late because of flights etc. This is a godsend when you are travelling with kids, who still need to be fed / jetlagged/ need to sleep early and cannot wait for the next mealtime.
+ Best breakfast we had in Mada, with freshly baked croissants, breads, etc. The food there is generally excellent and can cater to your dietary preferences (we had a vegetarian in our group).
+ Kid-friendly - there's a trampoline, and a swing, and friendly dogs, with the host having kids themselves so our kid enjoyed playing with the host's kids.
+ The host, Dina is very helpful and it was great for us to get to know a local family.
+ The host helped connect us to a mobile money changer so that we didn't need to go to a Bureau de Change.
+ The host is very responsive on whatsapp and was helpful in giving us tips and answering questions about Tana/ Mada in general.

I want to go back, and I will…

I highly recommend this lovely little family run hotel! Fabulous owners and staff. Airport pick up. Great food!!! Very nice, safe court yard. Nice rooms. Good WiFi. Good shower! Comfortable bed!Nice pool. Nice view.
But truly the people that own and run this little gem are fun and fabulous.

Perfect place to stay out of the city

This is such a lovely place to stay, and only 10/15 minutes from the airport, up on a hill looking down over Tana. Dina and her team are absolutely lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Food is also delicious, and they look after you well.
The room itself has a lovely big firm bed, and a beautiful bathroom, with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Lovely to while away a day on a lounger by the pool, waiting for my night flight.
Absolutely will not hesitate to stay here again when I come back to Madagascar, and I intend to!
