We had a wonderful stay at the Margareta Hotel. Really nice staff and excellent food (we had half board). The room looks a bit older, but it is very clean. We took the opportunity to play table tennis and the children and wife tried a very pleasant wellness. It would be nice to strengthen the wifi a bit and to put at least a basic small kettle in the room so that I could make my favorite tea next time :-) But these are just small details...

Dirty, Smelly and Overpriced
My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The entire place had a bad smell, and the rooms felt dirty and poorly maintained. The food was terrible — low quality, often cold, and definitely not worth the price. On top of that, it really felt like tourists were being overcharged and taken advantage of. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Terrible and Fraudalent!!!!
The hotel operates fraudently by advertising itself as pet friendly through the Booking platform. After booking the accommodation (we filtered pet friendly accommodations) we contacted the hotel that we were comong with our dog (the conditions then stated that we need to announce our arrival) just to be informed that there were no more pet friendly rooms. The hotel did not want to give us a free cancellation, and we could not leave our dog home alone for 2 nights. In this way the hotel and Booking recieved 50% of the price by not providing any kind of service. Also, after our call the hotel immediately changed the conditions into "not pet friendly" accommodation. By doing this they only confirmed that I was right, but luckily I am a lawyer and my professional deformation is to screenshot everything :) This behaviour is against all competition and consumer protection rules and we plan to escalate this to a higher level. Beware of this hotel because it operates in all kinds of ways to decieve its guests.

Thank you for your message here as well. Also on this site, we would like to inform you again, that we have pet-friendly rooms at our hotel but the number of these specific rooms are limited. It is also mentioned in the policy - as it can probably be seen on your screenshot as well - that pet-friendly rooms are available only on request, depending on free capacity, that means before booking any rooms, it is highly recommended to firstly ask the hotel about the free capacity of pet-friendly rooms.
You have booked your room on the 1st of July for the periode of 4-6 July and You sent your request about the dog only yesterday, on the 3rd of July, one day before your arrival. Unfortunately, in this period, all of our pet-friendly rooms are booked. We feel really sorry that You did not read the details how to book a pet friendly room (on request). We always do our best for the comfort of our Guests, but one day before arrival, if there are no more pet-friendly room, despite of all the efforts we cannot provide you such a room. That’s why You wanted to cancel Your booking. Our hotel and Booking.com informed You about the cancellation policy. You didn’t like that, and You unfortunately started threatening us with writing a bad rewiew, without expiring or using our serives at all. And finally, You did it now, although we haven’t charged Your card yet. We find it very sad and incorrect, especially while we were still keeping your room.
Because of this very first unpleasant case, we will not offer pet-friendly rooms for guests of booking.com in the future. Till now, it was no problem at all. That’s why we changing our policy now.
We are sure that we have not broken any rules.
We are sorry that we cannot welcome you in our hotel.

Good quiet place, clean, food is excellent only one little mistake doesn’t have kettle for me personally is important I need to take my medication 2 time/ day with hot water just sup rip me never ever happened when I’m travelling another hotel and another country always have Good lessons
