Short break ok with some drawbacks
We were 2 friends and for the 2nd. time here. The first time we had a better room. The current one was unfortunately very old and showed quite a few things that we didn't like so much, but we were actually only in the room to sleep.
The window frames were already very worn and would need a new coat of paint. No way to hang the towels properly on the balcony; you could only hang them over the 2 chairs. In the bathroom, the grout was very dirty and there was water damage on the ceiling that is being ignored. The radiator was poorly painted, so you wouldn't want to hang your towels there. It also smelled quite musty. There were also only 2 towels in total. That is a bit little for the thermal spa and showers. In addition, the bathrobes were very old; threads were hanging off.
We each had a Thai massage and it is really to be recommended. Nanny does her job with heart and afterwards you feel very good. The outdoor pool was pleasantly warm, but the indoor pool was very, very cold. Well, we were lucky with the weather, but if it had been cooler, we would not have gone into the indoor pool. The only warm pool was the "green" one. Although with that pool, you had the feeling that it is not emptied every day as promised, because the algae had settled very thickly on the bottom. Attention: slip hazard!!!
The waiters were, as on our first visit, rather grumpy, except for one young waitress in the evening. She was super friendly!!
The food was only okay this time because it somehow did not taste good. Nevertheless, you always found something that was good.
The lounge chairs in the outdoor area are made of plastic and are very hard. In addition, they were already reserved by guests very early, so you had to look around first to find a free lounge chair outside.
The air conditioning in the room could not be turned off, so it hummed 24 hours a day and it was a waste because it did not turn off when you had the balcony door open. That should be changed.
The refrigerator did not cool.
Beds (mattress) were great.
Sauna area okay, however, the areas that were already broken in March are still closed. Apparently, no value is placed on repairs. Too bad!!
All in all, it is basically a great getaway for the price (we paid 162 euros for 2 nights per person) if you do not look too closely.

Perfect relaxation
We spent a whole week at the hotel, and based on our experience, I can confidently say that the gastronomic experience we received here far surpasses some of the more famous players in the Hungarian hotel industry. Hats off to the kitchen's performance: both breakfast and dinner were extremely tasty, premium quality and sufficiently varied.
I would especially highlight the quality of the dinners: the venison was absolutely perfect, tender and professionally seasoned. If I had to use a basis for comparison, I would compare it to the food of a renowned five-star superior luxury hotel in Sárvár. Although Caramell does not have such ostentatious seafood specialties as shark, mussels or smoked salmon, the taste and preparation of the dishes represented a much higher standard. While in the luxury hotel they cooked it too salty, which was disturbing to me, here the seasoning and salt ratio was also flawless. And the cakes at Villa Rosato are masterpieces.
I can't comment on the wellness treatments, but the thermal water was pleasantly warm, and the sauna experience is simply incredible. The sauna sessions are brilliant, the essential oils are used professionally, they were never burned. During our stay, Vince held a full-day program that was perfectly structured and professional. It's a shame that the hotel doesn't have a permanent, fixed sauna master, because Vince would be a fantastic choice for this position in the long term, he is perfectly suited for it.
The attitude of the other members of the staff is also exemplary. The receptionists are kind, the rooms are clean, the cleaning ladies are attentive - the bed linen was changed without asking. When there was a technical problem with the air conditioning, it was fixed within an hour. Minor maintenance deficiencies (such as the imperfect waterproofing under the shower cabin) show that the building could do with some maintenance, but this minimal factor did not detract from the value of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Disappointment
Unfortunately, we have to express our disappointment and incomprehension. Both in the hotel and in the promotional materials, the fitness area is presented very attractively, but the reality is unfortunately different.
A large exercise machine for the upper body with adjustable weights has heavily damaged ropes with which the weights are moved. A person who does not notice this could seriously hurt themselves. Several other devices are incomplete, with some parts of the soft handles coming loose. For guests who want to train, this is a big disappointment.
The second point that has literally shocked us is the use of mobile phones in the relaxation zone by the thermal pool. Children are not allowed in this area due to noise pollution, but mobile phones can ring unhindered. This recklessness on the part of guests who can’t stand it for even an hour or two without social networks or messages is extremely disturbing.
Hotel management should prohibit the use of mobile phones in the saunas, relaxation areas and relaxation zone by the thermal pool. For guests who come here to relax in peace, this is a great disappointment.

2 stars too much!!!
The location is very quiet and beautiful
The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed.
The rooms are
70s level and the mattresses a disaster.
the third night I woke up at midnight and couldn't sleep from back pain.
New Year's Eve event was really nice. The food, the food Sensational!!!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The cleanliness was terrible. Shower fittings throughout the hotel, even in the sauna area, were cheapest scrap and the whole thing wobbled and could not be fixed properly. Here, more attention should be paid to valence.
Charging the hotel parking is pure money making. This is merely a barrier.
The noise level throughout the facility was very quiet.
The service was really excellent.
The equipment of the rooms or overall was poor.
The food was excellent, which greatly enhances the whole thing.
If the cleanliness is improved, the rooms are brought up to date, the parking fees are possibly still included, I would award a "top".
The whole package was too expensive! We won't be booking here anymore.
