Good accomodation at the border with Austria.

The pension has large apartments at reasonable prices and free car parking. The mansion is located at a 5-minute drive from the Paprika Csarta restaurant, which is absolutely great! The apartments are large and clean and there is air conditioning that works perfectly. A great place for transiting Hungary and Austria. There is a fuel station in the neighbourhood.
The breakfast is not included in the price and there is no cooking stove. There is a microwave oven in the kitchen, instead.
The host spoke very little English, but we managed to understand the basics just fine.

overnight stay

Stopped at this place to take a rest after driving more than 1000km drive. Arrived late in the night and the front gate was closed. Lucky a phone is provided above the main door so we called and the lady came quickly and opened the door. we were surprised about the overall quality for the price we paid. Room is quite big, comes with private bathroom and kitchenette. Everything is spotless clean, quiet location, private parking inside the yard.
Definitely a place to remember when driving through Hungary

Great place

It's a clean and friendly place. It has safe parking and it's situated in a quiet village very close to the highway. I loved the small kitchen where you can easily prepare a breakfast or a meal in the microwave. The host was friendly and we communicated very well

I do NOT recomand

Once we where there it was very nice. When we got there in the second time the bathroom was very dirty and smells. And the owner sent us a sorry sms so think about it. We won't comme back that is sure.

Excellent accommodation

Everything is brand spanking new and clean, couldn't ask for anything more, especially at the price we paid. Spent 3 nights here during Novarock and getting a taxi back was the only negative thing about Horvath Vendeghaz, which is of course none of their fault!
There is a restaurant 100m down the road further away from town center and the nearest shop I could find was at the main square near train station. There is a nice lake about 1.5km away, with crystal blue warm water and sandy banks.
Owner speaks hungarian, german and some english.
