Nice place to stay - bit of a walk to the baths though...

Stayed here for 5 or 6 days in autumn to take advantage of the thermal baths (which were great, by the way). Take your goggles so you can check out the fish life! This was a nice, clean and modern place to stay, with a friendly welcome. It is a bit of a walk to the baths though (as we had come by air/train and didn't have our own car). Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, however.
I am unsure why serviced apartments like these are categorized under B&B though, as no breakfast was provided. Perhaps this is a cost issue, as holiday rentals are not free listings under TripAdvisor. This probably needs to be looked into...

one of the best in the area

i have been to balaton now for a number of years as i have relatives in ferfarqugo. The year before i stayed just down the road the villa is exellently placed for the area, but however is a long walk to the lake. You can do heviz centre in about 20mins which is fine to waste a day in the sun sit outside and have a coffee at one of the many resteraunts. Plenty of shops in the centre as well as a big supermarket loads of local shops just down the many little roads the closest one about 4mins away selling meat fresh bread every morning cigs drink fresh water bits and pieces. One thing you cant miss is a walk up in the vine yards about 25-30 different ones only again about 20mins walk away but be warned up a sandy trail just follow everyone eles sit outside and drink the wine and order the rich cousine. The only thing that would make annetts perfect is a pool or a splash pool becouse when its hot its really hot we found with two children 5 and 7 all of us was taking a shower before we went out and before diner and then again just before bed a pool outside would just b nice to cool down in mid day heat..All in all you want go far wrong by visiting here

If I ran a hotel, it would be just like this one

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were pleasantly surprised when Anett showed us to our room and we discovered we had a lounge and a kitchen/diner (sink, fridge, 2 electric rings) - perfect for us. I am a vegetarian and to be able to cook our own food (lecso!) was such a bonus.
The rooms were spotless, spacious and well designed - like new (but without the smell of fresh paint).
Our room (3) had two east facing balconies so we could have breakfast in the sunshine, and there is a communal west facing balcony for the evening sun.
We had free wifi and there is also a wellness centre offering sauna, spa bath and massage (massages cost extra).
Secure off road parking, with Gizi neini's bar/restaraunt over the road where Tibor can't do enough for you, and a convenience store less than five minutes walk away - great location.
The centre of Heviz and the spa is about 1km away. Anett can offer discounted tickets to the thermal spa - something we would also recommend but you should note that the Hungarians float around not swim around like idiots (us), and that the minerals in the water turn jewellery temporarily a strange bronze colour.
And don't leave Hungary without having had langos by the side of Balaton with garlic juice, creme fraiche and cheese...Mmmm...dribbling.

Optimale Urlaubstage in HÈVÌZ dank Anett´s Villa

Super Wohnung, alles (!!) vorhanden, sehr schönes Ambiente, nette Gastgeber (Anett spricht perfekt deutsch), feiner Service. Schöner, großer, schattiger Balkon - mit Kirschen vor den Händen . . ., günstige ruhige Lage (zu den Weinbergen, Restaurants, Thermalsee). Von den 14 Tagen hatte wohl jeder sein eigenes Haihlaihd. Wenn es nicht so weit wäre, kämen wir jedes Jahr nicht nur im Frühjahr zum Kirschen essen . . . !

Zwei Wochen Erholung pur.

Ein tolles Haus sehr hochwertig,total sauber,freundliche Gastgeber. Würden wir immer wieder gerne buchen. Der Heilsee macht süchtig. Einfach genial.Schöne Restaurants um Weinberg und sehr preiswert. Allerdings sehr deftige Kost.
