Relaxing. Perfect location.
Perfect location. 100 m to the lake / beach, 3.5 km to the port, 4 km to the city center. Perfect for cycling.
The very friendly and helpfulling staff has answered from the reservation phase all our requests.
The hotel itself is modern, it offers spacious rooms with panoramic views to the lake. Even if another hotel interposes between the hotel and the lake, the view to the lake is ok from all rooms (which have lake view). From the rooms with city view, the view is also pleasant because the hotel is in a green area, the houses are beautiful and well maintained.
The balconies of the rooms overlooking the lake can be closed with a system of windows that allow you to enjoy views even the weather is not good. Extremely spacious balconies also offer the opportunity to feel perfect.
The food is sufficiently diverse and very tasty, both for breakfast and dinner.
It is for the third time when we are staying in this place and we will definitely come back.
We appreciated the value for money - the price was good because the price for the double room was almost the same as in the season, although we stayed in April and made the reservation more than 6 months before. For the child's accommodation and meal, we did not pay extra.
For those who do not want accommodation with meal included, in the same yard there is the Luxury Apartments - a building identical with this, but with appartments fully equiped.
The cleaning on the balcony has ceased to be desired.
During the 6 days when we has accomodate, we cleaned the room only ourselves. The hotel staff just completed the paper from the bathroom and emptied the trash cans.

Not recommended
We were really looking forward to our trip to Lake Balaton. Before we were still in Budapest and in the best weather, around 35 degrees, we went to our beloved beach. Two years ago we had an apartment, but this time we wanted to be pampered in a hotel. The hotel has four stars. We had two rooms booked for 4 people. So first of all the rooms are very big, we had the rooms each at the end of the corridor, which are slightly bigger than the others. My children's room was totally fine except for the fat limescale outside the shower.
But our room what was going on? Since all curtains and covers of the armchairs were removed and not made to our arrival again. Ok but that made you see the huge stains on the armchairs , where I never sat on them. The bed was very comfortable and also clean. In the actually beautiful bathroom was also very thick layers of lime, the soap dispenser completely dirty, the shower constantly flew down what my toe felt. The soap basket was loose and the dispenser for the hygiene bags kept coming off. The rug from the shower also had yellow disgusting spots. When I wanted the exchange, I got a towel. A bathrobe was completely broken and the belt torn. We had two balconies, but the windows completely dirty and smudged all the doors as well, there were still all smudges from other guests on them.The balcony furniture was all downstairs complete with cobwebs closed and the seat cushions completely stained and dirty. The air conditioning worked well thank God but the fridge did not. Wool mice also gathered under the bed to arrive. The room cleaning works but toilet paper was not put down a second time and so I ran through the house twice with toilet paper, then you get at the reception. At the reception the friendliness was good but some greetings not, I left it at some point. I could have lived with the whole thing but what went off at breakfast and dinner was absolutely puking. Breakfast times are from 8am to 10am and dinner from 6pm to 8pm. The dinner was delicious but some bread would be great because children are usually puny. And if there were no chips and noodles, there's no alternative. But it was delicious. Breakfast was varied but every day salami and cheese. But well there is Nutella and jam and also cornflakes and some more. Juice is only available for breakfast. Evening water or then order but the drinks prices are very cheap. So far so good BUT the friendliness in the restaurant a disaster. There was a young man with blond hair who was friendly but the rest absolutely not. Nothing is greeted, if you do not understand something because they do not speak English then your eyes are rolled. If you only come to breakfast at 9.15 am you are annoyed and it is hardly filled up anymore. I even just had my plate taken away when I drank my coffee. People are constantly cleaning around you , you really don't feel welcome there. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones who thought so. We are really cozy guests who rarely complain but that was too much for me. The reception is built very high, so the employees can also dive and you sometimes don't see them at all. On the subject of spa , ridiculous, my daughter wanted to give me a massage. Unfortunately you have to call the masseuse herself and she does not speak English. The parking in the yard costs 8 euros per day, but unfortunately the gate was never closed as in other facilities. You can save the money and put it on the street , because everything is open even at night. Let me put it this way , for normal hotel rates , so nothing extremely cheap, it's really annoying. We'll never go there again.

Nothing luxorious about this hotel
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Worst decision we ever made! The bathroom were outdated not very clean and moldy. The shower head was broken. The towels were small and stained. The bedroom is spacious but the bed is very uncomfortable, the sheets and pillow cases were clean but the mattress was disgustingly stained! The light fixtures next to bed were broken. The outdoor terrace had chairs, coushons were ripped and stained. The mosquito net were ripped. The valance in the room were ripped. In the stairs in the hallway the electric panel was left open. Very dangerous! We should have leave after one night and demanded our money back! STAY AWAY!!

Terrible mistake
The hotel looked nice at the firts sight, but after we settled in our room we had to ask for cleaning coz the bathroom floor was dirthy, and full of hair. The terrace was covered by spiders and nets, the furnitures inside had disguisting spots. Poor wellness and bar. The jacuzzi is availavble for extra fee....in the spa hotel....
The breakfast and the dinner was served from the counter and felt ashamed when you wanted to ask something more. It was not comfortable at all.
This is not 4 stars, but lot of disappointments.
For the price they ask for the accomodation the parking is not included, but 1500huf per day. Its a joke.

Rusty towel dryer, bathroom sink tap spurted water everywhere when it was on and it was pretty much just a dribble that came out , broken shower head holder, broken toilet roll holder, no towels, no shampoo, no shower gel in the room, bed went down in the middle, loads of spiders/webs on the balcony and doors, dining table was broken and went everywhere when we tried to eat, ended up putting folded bits of tissue to stabilise it..disaster, also spa not like the pictures, dark and not welcoming, jacuzzi out of order, we didn’t even bother to use the spa, Balaton Lake was much more appealing! Only good point was the breakfast, which was nice, sadly it was the same stuff every morning, got very repetitive after the second day. We ended up leaving early.
Overall it was not the best experience, we booked this to celebrate getting married as a treat to ourselves, was not worth the travel. Definitely not a 4 start hotel, 3 star...at a push.
