TOP quality-Don't miss it, if you are in town!

We visited this place with my family, and the first impression was very good. When we arrived at the restaurant, the owner of the place (later on we found out) welcomed us.
Don’t miss out on the amazing terrace that this restaurant has. Perfect for lunch or for the evenings. You are in the heart of the city, but you don’t hear any noise, it’s super cozy.
The food is amazing and you have many options to choose from.
Soups/ Meat-and not only chicken like at many places!!/ fish/ pasta/desserts. When we were there they even had many seasonal offers with asparagus. Everything is homemade, all the sauces, pasta, desserts! They even had homemade strawberry ice-cream.
We tried different places in Szombathely, but after we found this place we came back to have lunch or dinner here every day.
We didn’t know at the first place that it's a hotel as well. If we will back in this city we will definitely try out their hotel because I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.
If you are looking for a place where the food is delicious, the owner is welcoming and helpful and the service is super kind - this is your place!
Thanks so much again for the amazing dishes- We will be back!

This was once a very good restaurant. There's little left of it.

Of 3 main courses, only one was satisfactory. The duck breast was fried to death and barely edible. The noodles with rubbery forest mushrooms swam in little-spiced soup, decorated with parchment-like chicken fillets. Value for money doesn't fit at all. While in the past all the tables here were occupied mainly by locals, we sat all alone in the guest garden. I guess that says it all.

What a pity about a pearl in Szombathely

It used to be better. A waitress who still had her own sweater tied around her waist. A menu that didn't deserve its name. There used to be more Hungarian in it. And the prices aren't exactly right.
The only consolation: it tasted good. But it was also much better.

Price-performance ratio very good

Because it's the only hotel in the city center of Szombathely we had to choose this one and i think many other travelers have chosen the same way, but fear not the place is really a good accomodation.
Our group had 4 rooms, so i had the opportunity to see more than one room. Not all rooms have the same space available. If you need more space, it probably won't hurt to specify this during the reservation.
Accomodation prices are reasonable, comparing them to western Europe standards. The restaurant prices would go in western Europe as a cheap eat, but no need to be alarmed, the quality is really good. We ate three times at their restaurant and all the ordered dishes had the same good quality. The wait for the food can be long, when the restaurant is full. A table reservation is recommended for the evening hours, as I seen it, the locals also eat here quite often. The staff is very kind and polite but not always attentive.
Internet speed was really good, also in the backyard.
The only negative point that i would mention is that the last renovation of the building is a few years back and this is visible if you want to notice it.
It was a perfect weekend.

Nice comfortable hotel in the centre

A nice comfortable hotel in the centre with parking at the back. The room was good, no complaints. Not the most modern, but above average. A nice courtyard with a restaurant and friendly staff. Breakfast was adequate. Not expensive at EUR 70 for 2 people for one night.
