Awesome hostel, book it!

The most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed in and great value for money. The hostel is squeaky clean, everywhere. It is beautifully decorated, and has fabulous facilities - washing machine / dryer; drinking water; tea and coffee; kitchen facilities; games; books; hairdryers; an iron; quality toiletries; pretty much anything you might need!
Best of all are the owners and the full team who work at Faloe, all of whom are super-friendly, helpful and efficient.
Thanks for an amazing stay (x2)!

Home away from Home

Stayed here for 3 nights. Came here for the Mt. Kinabalu hike and for the first 2 nights, stayed in the 8-bed mix dorm. Sarah (the owner) was super helpful even before i had arrived in KK. Her communication regarding the check-in process, the location and the dos n donts made my hostel experience a smooth and breezy one.
She also helped me in booking a one day 2-island snorkeling tour at a nominal cost and was gracious enough to suggest tons of restaurants as per my preference.
After i returned from my hike, I was upgraded to their newly opened private pod. Loved the privacy and the much deserved coziness it offered. And i haven't even started talking about the inhouse facilities !! (including their clean washroom and organized kitchen)
This is for sure my HOME in KK !!

The hosts are simply amazing

Sarah was so incredibly helpful. We didn’t stay in the hostel (only because we wanted a private room for a couple of days) but they still helped us out fantastically with finding and booking tours. Everything (including the hostel) was closed on the National Holiday, but Sarah helped us through WhatsApp anyways. She even checked on us afterwards to ask how the tours were. If you want to feel taken care of and welcomed, please go to this hostel. The owners are simply amazing & you surely won’t regret it.

EXELLENT HOSTEL

this hostel was my home base during my stay in Sabah. I came back yo it 3 times and it always felt like coming home! Vanessa and Ivy were the best hosts anyone could ask for! The free laundry and Tumbler were great too!

Great stay. So friendly and helpful!

Look no further when looking for a hostel in KK! Ammaculate place. They have created this culture in their boutique style den that makes you feel like a you are part of a friendly community straight away. Never short of things to do in KK, Ivy and Vanessa have all the know how and it’s easy to meet people to go out and experience the city and surroundings with. Honestly you aren’t going to meet more friendlier and helpful staff anywhere on the planet. Yes it’s a 20min walk into town but chuck on the walking or running shoes or hire a ‘Grab’ car for 5 ringit (literally £1) and you’ll be in there in no time. Thanks Ivy and Vanessa, 5 stars for mine!
