Welcoming for families!
After staying somewhere not so nice, we moved to this delightful hotel Bayou. As we arrived warm and friendly staff collected our bags.
The rooms were spotless, and new. It also smelt nice.
The price was reasonable, its only a 400m walk to the beach (we went in jellyfish season so were happy with the pool).
The pool has views out towards the jungle, and with happy guests all around, it had great resort vibes.
Breakfast was excellent, they even catered for our gluten-free daughter.

Very well placed and very comfortable
The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
The reception is open to the pool which gives access to the restaurant
The staff is friendly
The rooms are comfortable but the classic rooms are really very small
Breakfast is varied and of very good quality. The room is open to the street and the pool which is I find very nice.
The pool is very good
The restaurant offers dishes that are very good, we ate there several times during our stay
The bar offers drinks at very accessible prices
The hotel offers scooter or car rental service
The hotel is very close to the beaches which are within walking distance
We wanted to stay two more days, but unfortunately for us, the hotel was full
I recommend this hotel without any hesitation

Perfect place
Very cute, smiling and helpful staff.
Great view from the pool area beyond the green area.
Everything was clean and nice.
Really nice family room which we were so lucky to be upgraded to.
Good breakfast. And yes - free popcorn with caramel flavor.

Great 2nd time experience
An Absolute Blast (Yet Again!) — The Ultimate Family-Friendly Stay in Langkawi!
Our second stay at the Bayou Hotel was just as incredible as the first—if not better! This time, I brought my family along, and everyone had an absolutely fantastic time.
What Made Our Stay So Special:
Shoutout to the Amazing Bar Staff: A massive thank you to Mukhtar, Firdous, and Inkaaf at the bar! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and so fantastic with my boys. They truly made our evenings memorable.
Impeccable Housekeeping: A special shoutout to the housekeeping team on Floor 2! Our rooms were always impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly respectful and professional throughout our stay.
Fantastic Dining: The food here is great! We ended up having multiple lunches at the hotel because everything was delicious. The Nasi Goreng and the steak are absolute must-tries!
Top-Notch Facilities: The swimming pool was a massive hit with the kids, and all the hotel amenities were in excellent condition.
Truly Family-Friendly: It can be tough finding a spot that genuinely caters to the whole family, but the Bayou Hotel nailed it.
We loved every minute of our trip and are already planning our next return. If you are heading to Langkawi, I cannot recommend this place enough!

GREAT hotel on a human scale with incredible staff, extremely kind, always smiling and cheerful availability, you feel a real team spirit: management at the top.The hotel is very clean. Our room very quiet , spacious, very clean, functional everything is designed to feel like home ( coffee machine , kettle , ironing board and electrical outlet everywhere) Close to the city center (5 minutes walk) . Water fountain everywhere. Very good , breakfast, cocktails , and restaurant . We travel a lot and it is a real favorite, sad to have to leave this place after more than 10 days and especially the people who work there. Thanks again to the whole team of the bar , breakfast , pool , reception, cleaning, etc ... there is also a Car and Scooter Rental Service, excursion in the hotel: people also adorable and helpful . Very large swimming pool at the top for swimming. Thanks also for the popcorns l afternoon at will: excellent. We'll come back to you.
