I was very impressed with how attentive and helpful the hotel staff were, from their quick reply to my email query on pickup instructions for the Airport transfer, to the actual pickup and welcome upon arrival, where they also updated us on the transfer back to the airport for our speedboat to the resort which was our next destination.
All the staff were very kind and helpful, even though we only stayed 1 night before moving on to a resort. Many thanks to Maya, Anisha, Rana, Rose and all the other staff who gave us a good start to this trip!
Facilities wise, the hotel is decent. The triple room we booked was spacious and smelled like a spa. The beds could be more comfy but was fine for a short stay. The hotel is located opposite the beach so we had a nice walk before checking out next day.

On our second day, we were pleasantly surprised to be given a room on a higher floor with a stunning direct sea view—it made our stay even more special! The rooftop view is lovely, and the restaurant served really delicious food. From Indian to Maldivian, Sri Lankan, and Western dishes, everything we tried was flavorful—especially the butter chicken curry and tuna curry. We were on a half-board basis and missed dinner one night, but the staff kindly offered us desserts and water even though we insisted we didn’t need anything. Their hospitality is truly commendable. The complimentary airport transfers and reminder calls for check-out and shuttles were a thoughtful touch. A truly pleasant and memorable experience!

Smooth Transit Stay - The crew greeted us warmly at the airport and handled our transfer to the hotel seamlessly. H78 Maldives was a great choice for a one-night layover before heading to our private island. The hotel was clean, offered basic amenities, and served its purpose well for a short stay.

extremely good service. they emailed me 1 day before departure the hotel pick up arrangements. my plane is arriving at 11pm and it's a big relieve to not to worry about transportation at late night. the staff are helpful and answers all my questions professionally. I booked family room and the size is pretty decent.

The hotel is highly recommended for transit.Its very close to the airport (9-11 mins) and clean.The opposite part of the hotel is a public beach where you can relax either in the morning or afternoon.The hotel is not that spacious but good enough to rest and spend a night.The hotel has a restaurant even if you arrived from a long trip it’s easy to order some food.It’s open until 11pm and a lot of Maldivians are also going there to chillax at night.The rooftop has sea view and city view where you can also stay to dine out and sip coffee.
