Wonderful stay, highly recommended
We were extremely satisfied with our holiday at this beachfront hotel. The surroundings are beautiful and the location by the beach is perfect. The staff deserves the highest praise – the entire team was very kind, helpful, and smiling. Another huge plus was the food; the kitchen cooked truly excellently, and every meal was delicious. I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a flawless holiday.

Beautiful stay
The staff is very friendly and with little care.
It is a hotel on a human scale and the building does not exceed the palm trees.
A few meters away is the beach which is equipped with deckchairs and chairs. This side of the island there are only two small hotels and therefore there are not many people and in addition it is shaded. On the other side of the island there are many more people , but there is not much shade during the day , so people including more on each other .
There is also a small area set up for eating or drinking fresh juice prepared by the hotel kitchen.
Buffet breakfast from 7:30 to 10:00
is hearty and there is a choice: sweet and savory with vegetables , fruits and what I enjoyed very much: Maldivian pancakes with a mixture of grated coconut, tuna crumb and shallot: delicious .
You can also eat on site at any time in the afternoon until 10pm
There is a menu and the chef prepares this with great taste.
Tours are also offered by Ostrov
We took an excursion to discover the mantas , sharks and turtle with mask and snorkel: beautiful.
It is a hotel where many families with children stay.

The Journey of Alone
There was no problem at the airport on arrival, we should get to the stoic if everyone tells us anything.
Transfer action, who's stressed out for the first time. It's an hour and a half.
The hotel offered fresh watermelon juice, quickly gave a room.
But this is where I got unlucky. The first room turned out to have a small window, overlooking the reception, the bar, behind the kitchen wall. Out of fatigue, she agreed to sleep one night, and the next day she was offered a place upstairs. The room itself is not bad, but the view is of the wall and next to it, some kind of reactor. All night, like a volcano. I'm here to take a break from the sounds of the metropolitan area. Breakfasts Maldives, you can eat.
Chicken soup with MAGIC cubes $7
Tuna salad (one cabbage with carrots and cucumber, tuna canned. $7 Cabbage goes everywhere. Fish normal. 8-15$

The juices are delicious too. 6$
The tours are bombastic. It's absolutely necessary to visit.

Impossible to contact hotel
We would still love to stay at Ostrov, but will need to cancel our reservation and find some other place to stay if we can't get in touch with the hotel. A disappointing experience!
