Fancy visiting the Monkey Fingers? Choose Mehdi!

Our walk in the Monkey Fingers was a spectacular experience, especially thanks to our fantastic guide, Mehdi. We were a mixed group: a fit young hiker, two ladies of 55+ and someone with a fear of heights. Yet Mehdi adapted the pace and route perfectly to our company, so that everyone felt safe and at ease. With the agility of a mountain goat, Mehdi jumped from rock to rock and offered a helping hand for the ladies (without treating us like half cripples because our childhood years are behind us anyway ), a little more challenge for the youngest and firm pep talk to nip the fear of heights in the bud.
Mehdi constantly took into account the tempo of the group and gave clear instructions for the more exciting passages. His approach completely confirmed the statement: “a team is only as strong as the weakest link.” No one was left behind and everyone enjoyed the discovery between the impressive rock formations and spectacular views of this breathtaking place.
In short, this hike is an absolute must for those who want to discover the Monkey Fingers, regardless of age, fitness or any fear of heights. We look back on it with enormous pleasure.
Additional plus: Mehdi has a passion for language and speaks excellent Dutch.

Excellent dinner prepared with care, attentive service , breakfast on the terrace with panoramic views of the mountains.

A little paradise

Close to the gorges, this small maze hotel is a real gem. Warm and smiling welcome, rooms with original and nice decoration, impeccable cleanliness, delicious dinner just like breakfast and, icing on the cake, Mehdi and his new assistant Younes. We loved this stop, Mehdi made us feel like home and multiplies details and little touches! We recommend 200%! Only regret: more room on the walls to write our thanks

A step not to be missed. Medhi is of disarming kindness and a great culinary creativity.

A very beautiful home where you will be welcomed like princes. Medhi’s attention is impressive and the table d’hôte is remarkable for its inventiveness.
In the morning breakfast on the terrace overlooking the village I recommend without reservation.

The hostel is perfectly located – central but still quiet ️. The rooms are super clean, cozy and lovingly decorated ️✨.
The food is great – fresh, delicious and made with heart ☕.
The absolute highlight is the mega friendly team : always helpful, warm and with really great tips for activities .
You feel welcome and comfortable here from the first moment ❤️.
