Amazing hostel in a beautiful town

Came here to say with my son, we shared a double bedroom with shared showers. I had an amazing stay here. The staff were so helpful and friendly and sorted anything out that I needed doing. Bed was a bit hard for me so they padded it with duvets. Really cute courtyard with chairs and tables to hang in outside the rooms. Roof top views are amazing for the sunset!!! Breakfast and fresh juices were really good as well. Some nights we had live music or djs on rooftop which was a great bonus. Also a perfect location. Would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back next year

Great stay, lovely terrace

We stayed in a double bedroom rather than a dorm. It was a very clean, nice room with a tall ceiling but we didn’t have a proper window which is probably the cheaper option but it was fine. Not the most authentic Moroccan vibe you get at other family run roads but we honestly found this to be a breath of fresh air compared to the more stuffy Marrakech. Great location, near nice restaurants!! Nice terrace with smoothies and a good view of the ocean.

RUN AWAY!

What about this "hostel"...
The room is in a deplorable state: cleanliness not done, stained sheets, dirty towels, smell of irrespirable moisture, and little fleas all over the walls. The only small window, located more than 3-4 meters high, can only be opened from 10pm, when the evening employee arrives. Dust and sand accumulated on the windowsill, probably never cleaned, then fall directly on the sheets. Only pillowcases are changed.
A chewing gum is glued to the bedside table, the carpet is filthy, filled with hair and stains.
Common sanitation is equally catastrophic: Dirty toilets, black shower joints, shelves never cleaned, huge mold marks on the walls. The smell in our room, stuck to the toilet, can be explained without difficulty. They probably paint regularly to hide the damage, without solving anything.
The rooftop, despite a beautiful view, is also neglected: cockroaches that walk from dark, benches covered with stains and crumbs.
No solution offered, no commercial gesture, no reimbursement. Nothing! This is unacceptable.

Rooftop views

I didn’t stay in the hostel but was recommended the restaurant by my Airbnb host.
The rooftop did not disappoint. You can sit directly facing the sea and the views are fantastic.
There is a bar snacks menu which has a mix of traditional European and Moroccan dishes. The food was nice, I also came back for coffee the next day.
It was a pretty relaxed vibe on the rooftop, there were a few locals there who used it as a co-working space.
I would definitely recommend a visit for the sea views.
