kindness

I was on my way to Agadir and we got stuck because the road was close due to heavy rain ! We decided my friend and I to stay in Taliouines for the night ! We got the best welcome from Omar! An angel ,an amazing person with such devotion and it's not even a staff member ( He was taking care of the place when the boss was there)
He make us feel home ,Its very simple auberge nothing fancy but when you met someone like him the only 5 stars you can give its to his heart. Thanks So much Omar for your kindness and generosity .The food was excellent and if I have the chance to come back close to your hotel I will definitely stay in this place !
حسن الضيافة والمعاملة الطيبة ، كذلك بالنسبة للسيدات المشرفات على المطبخ ، حسن الضيافة والأكل الرائع ..... منطقة تالوين منطقة جميلة ورائعة ، أهلها طيبون .

Nice place

Our room was ok, a bit humid though, but I saw some other rooms that were nicer. There was a lovely fireplace in the dinner area and a pretty garden terrace to enjoy the sun. Great breakfast with fig marmalade and a homemade paste of peanuts and almonds which I really enjoyed. We only stayed one night because there didn’t seem much to do around the area for us.

Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food

We took a chance on Auberge Souktana and were pleasantly surprised. Occupied by a ramshackle group of Touareg gents it provided us with a brilliant night as we got chatting to our hosts.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with hot water (which was unexpected). The main dining hall has an open fire (which was fairly smoky when lit but appreciated in mid-January) and the food was absolutely excellent.

Friendly house!

The Auberge Souktana is a bit out of date, surely not a five star hotel.
But the bed was comfortable, all was clean. We spend a nice time, sitting together with the cook and the waiter and a couple of other tourists around the central fireplace.
Got some good tips of "what to do?" at our arrival.
Diner was ok to, may be a bit too expensive...
