Absolutely five star!
BEYOND FIVE STAR. I truly can’t rave about this place enough. We visited for our eighth wedding anniversary, with our five year old daughter. We booked three nights and then planned to move over to the Oberoi (promises a large room with a private pool 20 mins outside of the city center)…. We transferred to the second hotel and stayed one night, immediately came back to the Four Seasons. We’ve stayed at FS Dubai, Toronto (four or five times), Napa, Palm Beach, Nevis, on and on…. this property tops them all effortlessly.
Location is fantastic, rooms are huge (needed when traveling with kids), the pool is massive and so beautiful, breakfast is excellent, the property is maintained wonderfully. And the staff…. the staff really make it. They are EXCELLENT. Front desk, pool staff, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant servers. Go here. You won’t regret it.
Location is fantastic, rooms are huge (needed when traveling with kids), the pool is massive and so beautiful, breakfast is excellent, the property is maintained wonderfully. And the staff…. the staff really make it. They are EXCELLENT. Front desk, pool staff, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant servers. Go here. You won’t regret it.

Just Book It!
We've been lucky enough to stay at quite a few five-star hotels around the world and the Four Seasons Marrakech is right up there with the very best.
The hotel itself is stunning. The grounds are immaculate, the gardens are beautifully maintained, the pool and gym are fantastic and every part of the property feels luxurious without being over the top. Our room was spotless every single day and maintained to an incredibly high standard. It's clear that a huge amount of pride goes into every detail - for those who travel a lot you know it’s the little things that make all the difference.
What really sets this hotel apart, though, is undoubtedly the people. The hospitality exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was warm, kind and always willing to go out of their way to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and it was obvious that everyone genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. By way of example, on our first night, Morocco were playing France in the World Cup and the staff went out of their way on short notice to get us jerseys so we had a memory of our stay and to add to experience.
A special mention has to go to Amine. I'm not sure if he's the manager or part of the leadership team, but if he isn't, he should be. He leads by example, is incredibly professional and is a fantastic reflection of both the Four Seasons brand and Moroccan hospitality. You can tell the rest of the team really respect him and he made a real difference to our stay.
We've stayed in some incredible hotels over the years but this is one we'll remember because of the people. The service was genuinely exceptional and made what was already a beautiful hotel even better.
There are many beautiful hotels in Marrakech but I honestly couldn't recommend Four Seasons more highly. If you're sitting at your computer wondering if you should stay here…..just book it, you won't regret it.

great place - we were tired of staying in the medinas in morocco. much more spacious and airy.

Unacceptable
We had a dinner reservation at the Zest restaurant, but unfortunately, after a few minutes, we decided to leave.
From the moment we arrived, we noticed a general lack of care in the outdoor areas, with poorly maintained garden areas and the presence of bird droppings. Once we arrived at the restaurant, it was even worse: we found the sofas and seats dirty, with numerous long dark hairs clearly visible.
After kindly asking for the seat to be cleaned, the only response was the removal of a cushion. No apology for the incident, no special attention, and no real interest in resolving the problem.
What negatively struck us was also the total absence of welcome. No welcome upon arrival, no interaction that made the customer feel welcomed, and when we decided to leave the restaurant, no one showed any interest in understanding the reason or trying to remedy the situation.
The situation was so unpleasant that my husband and I felt uncomfortable and therefore decided to leave the restaurant and immediately book another hotel of the same level, where we found cleanliness, hospitality, professionalism, and attention to the customer: everything that unfortunately was lacking during our experience. We have frequented and continue to frequent the Four Seasons around the world, and NEVER has something like this happened: it is unacceptable for a hotel of this level.
A thank you goes to the reception, which listened to our complaint with professionalism, sincerely apologized, and assured us that they would report the incident.
One expects decidedly different standards from a Four Seasons property. Unfortunately, this experience was well below expectations.
I do not recommend it.
