Great Visit at this Unique Property
My partner and I stayed for a week at this property, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The caretakers were incredibly friendly and willing to do whatever was needed. Though they did not clean the room every day, they did clean a few times during our stay. Our room came with a bed inside a loft, and although it was a bit tricky going up and down the stairs, the downstairs sofa was very comfortable and the bathroom was quite nice. The zellage throughout the property was exquisite as was the woodwork. We especially appreciated the views from rooftop, where breakfast was served every morning. You can also go up there at night and enjoy the stars and the view of the airport. Note that the property is on the other side of the medina from the riads serving food off of Avenue Mohammed V, so you really need to know where you're going and memorize the way around the different streets of the medina as you go down them. I highly recommend asking the hotel for a map of the medina in PDF version before you go and then printing it off as Google Maps is wholly inadequate at identifying all the tiny streets you'll walk through. Be prepared for a lot of hustle-and-bustle in the medina, questionable hygiene, a few random touts (though nothing you can't ignore) and little room for walking side-by-side. Note that the hotel may be found by going right as you enter the medina from Bab al-Okla, left at the first street, right at the next one and then left again at the first street, Rue Seffar. You'll go to the end, turn right and then take your first left. The property is on Rue Erzini in the medina just across from the Mezquita Erzini, though the address is on Rue Seffar. Look for the property's brown sign, which is lit at night.
