Excellent location with parking available. The rooms are spacious and have what you need, so the value for money is fair. The service is very attentive and available at all times.

Great experience

My stay at Hotel Mayanah in Bacalar was a very nice surprise. After staying there, I can say that my experience was fully positive.
The room is particularly spacious, to the point of giving the impression of being in a small independent apartment. The space is well arranged, comfortable and functional. The kitchen works perfectly, which is a real asset for a stay of several days, and I very much appreciated the attention of the coffee made available upon arrival.
Many thanks to Mike, who took the time to explain to me in detail all that there is to do in Bacalar. He advised me with kindness and precision, adapting to my desires. His involvement and availability make a real difference.
Travelling alone as a woman, safety is a key criterion for me. I felt confident throughout my stay: the property is secure and the atmosphere is serene, which is particularly reassuring.
The location is also a real highlight: the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from everything. We are close to supermarkets — which makes the trip more economical — but also to the lagoon and the center. This makes it easy to enjoy activities while staying in a quiet environment.
Finally, the pool is a real asset. It is exposed in full sun from morning until evening, which is becoming quite rare today, and allows to enjoy the days to the fullest.
In short, a comfortable, practical and reassuring stay. I recommend this hotel to those who want to discover Bacalar in good conditions.

Huyan! It's a scam!

Hotel to run away! Everything is in deplorable condition: moldy walls, leaky air conditioning, disgusting bathroom with blood stains on the floor and sheets. They haven't cleaned for over a week, there's dust everywhere. I found 4 live cockroaches in one night and another dead in the refrigerator. Besides, it's in a neighborhood where there's absolutely nothing.
