A small place that needs to be enjoyed without rushing

Small place full of details that make the stay pleasant.
The rooms are very clean and with the services of a great hotel.
Ideal to rest and enjoy the silence.
Excellent surprise breakfast.

They do not respect rules.

Overall, the hotel, the facilities, breakfast, etc. were all very good. The staff was excellent except for the security personnel on duty, we understand that there are guests who do not have control; at 2 AM, a guest started shouting and making a lot of noise in their room. I reported it to the hotel’s cell phone several times, and by the end, it was turned off to no longer receive calls. The guest stopped making noise after 3 AM, but it was not a pleasant or quiet night; they did nothing, and it was not my job to intervene. Regrettable.

Dismal experience with the manager

Abysmal experience with the manager of the place, a problem with the quality of the water presented to fill the Jacuzzi, the water had dirt, dead insects, surely originated by the cleaning of the water tanks and the pipes, but the problem was aggravated by presenting our unhappiness, we sought to negotiate compensation, but the handling of the problem was abysmal, we were branded as liars, that we did not let the staff see the evidence, (we left the tub full for the evidence) that we wanted to take advantage of the circumstances, they sought to justify themselves rather than face the problem. The manager is not looking to give a good service, he is just trying to justify himself, he is not interested in his clients, he is just looking for profits.

Small but Compliant

The rooms are spacious and very clean, the one with whirlpool tub has a very pleasant little private, has no direct view to the rock, but not bad. The hotel is small, only 7 rooms so if you are looking for some privacy it is a good option.
The staff is very friendly, the reception boy always very attentive and the night watchman also always available. The hotel has an agreement with a corner parking lot, it is quite spacious.
Breakfast is modest, some slices of fruit, coffee, juice, bread and 1 entree, is complimentary if you are looking for a quick exit. If you're looking for a nicer breakfast, go downtown.

Pésimo servicio al cliente

Muy mala experiencia con este hotel, teníamos una boda y por motivos de salud (COVID) tuvimos que cancelar 72 horas antes de la fecha de la reserva, y su respuesta fue nos cobrarían el monto total sin importar motivos, después de hablar con la persona encargada y prácticamente suplicarle que hiciera una excepción ya que no estaba cancelando el mero día y que era una causa de fuerza mayor, accedió a devolvernos una parte penalizándonos con el 30%
Hasta en los mejores hoteles hay cancelación sin costo siempre y cuando sea con tiempo anticipado, y no fue el caso
Sin duda esto habla de un servicio al cliente deficiente y poco empatico
Sin haber ido, no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto, hay mejores opciones y con un mejor servicio en Peña de Bernal
