Is Hostal México Airport CDMX forehand right?

Hostal México Airport CDMX Appears on booking.com at Sportsmail. It is within walking distance of Terminal 1 but a short walk (walking access is not recommended if you have a suitcase)
It was cheaper than a hotel or capsule hotel directly connected to the terminal, and the inn itself was comfortable. If you are jet-lagged and want to get a good night's sleep, or if you are flying out early in the morning, we recommend this.
It was crowded with taco and juice stalls around.

Walking distance to Terminal 1

I stayed just one night and thought this was a great hostel. It was noisy though, as it's right next door to a bar. The best thing for me was that it was a 15 minute walk from Terminal 1. I took an airport bus from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 and then walked. Same thing in the morning going back to the airport. The only difference was that the "free" airport bus to Terminal 2 charged me 20 pesos. I liked the neighborhood around the hostel. It was Friday night and they were dancing in the street with a band playing for a 3 year old's birthday. Several women asked where I was from. It seemed like everyone liked hostelers. I did hear gun shots around 10:30pm. I think it was for the birthday celebration. I didn't feel unsafe and will stay here again next time I'm passing through Mexico City. I don't think it's far to the zocalo, but you would need an uber or taxi for that.

Very convenient

The place is a 15 min walk from the airport. We walked late evening to the place and no troubles at all. Didn't feel unsafe. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was okay. Lovely hostel and staff. Good wifi coverage

Rip off place

Tried to change my reservation date because of canceled flights into Mexico City to another date. Response was to book another night and no refunds. Zero customer service here. Stay clear from this place!

Worst hostel I have ever been to!

This place was horrible. To start off, the owners tried to rip me off while checking in. They insisted that the online deposit I paid was a 'commission' to the website when it was clearly stated as a DEPOSIT. They argued for 15 minutes before finally saying 'you're right ok pay'. They also spoke barely any English, making it more difficult. They also do not give keys to the hostel or to your room. The next day, I came back to my (private) room with my sister to find 2 men changing the mattress of my bed, with no warning. My pajamas had been thrown on the floor and stepped on. They told us we had to leave until they were done...We wanted to rest because it had been a long day of travelling the day before. They then refused to give me sheets for the new mattress. She said because there was 3 beds in the room that i could just sleep on the other one. (I booked a room with 2 double beds - there was the 2 doubles and a small cot in the corner.) She was implying that I should sleep on the cot when there is a perfectly good double bed in the room, just didn't want to give me sheets! She was so rude! She finally sent someone in to give me bedsheets but they only gave me one thin blanket, when before they had 3 on each bed (it got very cold at night). She also smoked inside the hostel all day and even yelled at my sister when she used the (communal) microwave to pop some popcorn. Overall it was a terrible experience because of the staff.
