Nice and well located hotel.

Nice medium-sized hotel in nature. Spacious and clean rooms (thanks to Griselda and Karen in particular for their help).
Tasteful decoration.
Clean beach because clean despite the sargasses present during my stay.
Only flat a mandatory $300 deposit to be paid at check-in but refunded 7 days later.

Sad to Write This

I Hate to write this as we stayed at this same hotel 2 years ago and had an Amazing time, BUT ALOT has changed in two years and it felt a bit Misleading that they have not Updated their property photos! Like if I could request a refund in someway, I would but pretty sure since we are already back from our vaycay that would be pretty tough. The Main issue was the Pool and Rooftop. We booked this hotel know that even if the saragasso (ocean seaweed) was bad which it was VERY BAD, at least we weouñd have a beautiful rooftop with a pool and jacuzzi…. To our Surprise, they have TOTALLY COVERED Their Entire Rooftop and Pools with SOLAR PANELS! All of it. The design is Ungodly. We still swam one day but it truly felt like we were swimming in a garage parking lot. It’s so sad. I will add before and after pictures of this property. Our room and staff were nice but honestly, but felt like a skeleton crew as check in and checkout were all digital and 1 guy had 5 jobs on the property. The price for this property as it is should definitely be a lot lower. Especially during times when you can’t even use the beach.

Disappointed, misleading photos, solar panels under installation since January 26 and no information about it.

Small pool covered with solar panels, thus in the shade. Large pool under construction with solar panels. If the hotel had indicated this, we would not have chosen this hotel. No possibility of negotiation to leave earlier despite all the photos taken. The room on the ground floor does not match the photos on their site. The garden view is actually a view of a shed. We were forced to keep the curtains closed because it is a passage area, and the noise... the generators are just next door.
It is the first time we have left a hotel before the end of our stay. No refund is possible. They only offered us other more expensive rooms, which would incur additional charges. They consider that the installation of solar panels (workers at the edge of the pool, no lounge chairs) does not qualify as construction work.
No commercial gesture. We went through hotel.com, and they also did not have any success despite all our photos.
Fortunately, the rest of our stay at another hotel was wonderful.

Horrible and away from Insta photos

Nothing to do with the photos on the site. We had to stay five days, we left after two nights. No refund from the management but we didn't want to ruin our vacation. Dark rooms with no privacy, cockroaches in the bathroom, a smell of damp and closed, but this is normal according to the hotel management. Large bay windows that overlook the way to the beach but sold as garden view. You have to live with the curtains closed. Large photovoltaic panels above swimming pools that are no longer exposed to the sun. Work on terraces and photovoltaic roofs but it is not work according to the direction, so pool be passable with workers who cut boards with circular saw, workers who install photovoltaic panels just above your head and no deckchair to sit. We order Carbonara pasta at the restaurant, it arrives cold. The dish returns a second time but without bacon the reason mentioned there are more. In that case, just last warn before. Anyway, probably the worst hotel on my last 20 trips. To flee do not be fooled by misleading advertisements. The hotel is poorly managed

The staff were some of the the most helpful and friendly people I have ever dealt with when traveling. This says a lot as I travel half the year. The food and drinks at the restaurants was wonderful. The one thing I will point out is that the hotel owners need to work on updating broken patio furniture and the hotel as a whole. For what they charge it really was sad to see the hotel looking worn out. Note: we had 4 villas (not really a villa more like room with deck) for 7 days and the air con did not work well in one of the villas. Power was out several times for long periods which meant no water either but we understand this can be typical in the area. The highlight besides the beauty of the area was the staff.
