Paradise, quite simply!

Stayed 3 nights with 2 teenagers (18, 16), the whole family loved it!!!
We stayed in Cabañas Maya, for 4 or 5 people:
Beautiful... Beautiful... Extraordinary... Etc.
Direct access to the beach... And what a beach!
Great location, close to everything without the nuisance.
In short, we highly recommend.

Lovely place

Amazing location, calm and relaxing environment, superb staff.
Perfect place for a relaxing vacation.
I had some internet issues but Pepe solved it before the end of the day.
I loved to make my own coffe and sit in front of the sea in the morning.

Truly a Special Place

From the moment when I was greeted by Pepe- I felt so relaxed... The bungalows are steps from shoreline making it much easier to wake up quick and watch the sunrise in the morning. That was extra special. The beach was obviously amazing. I enjoyed being able to bring my own food, to cook, eat and drink in peace when I wanted. Everything was so clean. My room was tidied up each morning by the Playa Selva crew on site. (There is warm water in the shower and towels.) There is a surf school on the beach - these guys have a lot of adventure to offer from kite surfing, surfing, SUP, cenote tours etc. @siankite Everything you want out of the real Tulum is right at Playa Selva. The location of the property is in the perfect spot on the beach road if you want to venture out and explore nearby. I felt safe and looked after! Thank you everyone who made my stay memorable. I will definitely be returning soon <3

Horrendous!

Owner told us we couldn’t book on Air B&B site where we found it and that we had to book direct and we found out why to our cost. I therefore doubt that all these reviews are authentic. I will say that it is wonderfully rustic and as close to the beautiful white sandy beach as shown and has been kept really low key and natural which we loved. However there was no warning when we booked of the loud house music coming from the bar nextdoor from lunchtime until late into the night. The furniture in our apartment reverberated with it. Assured by the manager it would be finished by 7pm we walked several bars away before we could escape the noise. When we got back at 9pm it was still playing. None of us could sleep so sat up and booked straight into another apartment where we could actually sleep. Topped off with cold dribble of water in the shower in the morning - could not wait to leave. A whole day of our holiday wasted plus much much more wrangling with owner about their miss-selling and trying to get some of our money back. If you don’t have kids and are looking for Ibiza vibes then great but do not go for peace and tranquility.

Wants to come back !

Love the “appartement” very authentic and still very clean and our host Pepe was extremely nice ! I love how you have the beach as your backyard yard ! Also very well located with all bar and restaurant near by and parking spot available so very handy. I wish we could have stayed longer :-)
