Bezchybná služba; vřele doporučuji

Opravdu jsme si užili náš pobyt v Ancient Bagan Hotel. Místnost byla prostorná, čistá a velmi pohodlná k pobytu. Služba byla bezvadná. Zaměstnanci byli laskaví a přátelští a zároveň vyhověli našim potřebám. Jídlo bylo vynikající a mělo odrůdy vhodné pro něčí paletu. Mají bazén vedle restaurace a krásný a velký zahradní dvůr, který je skvělý pro odpočinek po dlouhém dni objevování Bagan. Určitě tu zůstane a doporučuji toto místo každému, kdo přijde do Baganu.

Nice but could be better

A lovely new hotel very near the airport (and about 15 minutes from all the action in town), that is well appointed with large comfortable rooms off a beautiful courtyard with a goldfish pool. The availability of e-scooters made it easy for us to get around. Staff are keen to assist (we were provided with Soy milk for breakfast on the second day following our request), but many struggle to understand our needs and to express themselves in clear English. While there was great variety for breakfast, the food was stone cold and often almost all gone by 8am owing to the large number of guests having left early. Guests are often loud in the evenings but particularly early in the mornings as they prepare to leave, disrupting the sleep of those who are not checking out. And the wifi, while strong in the reception area and the courtyard, does not fully penetrate the rooms; we were unable to watch a movie or EPL soccer matches in the evening during our stay. Complaints to the reception did not make any difference for the food nor the loud guests; we did manage to get some assistance from the IT for wifi, (but in our view, the problem requires the installation of routers in the rooms, rather than in the hall outside the rooms). That being said, it is a lovely hotel, clean and well located with staff that are extremely gracious and hard working.
