Excellent service and quality/price

Union Square Hotel in Yangon is perfectly situated, has an incredibly warm and hospitable staff, caters to every service the customer may need, including travel advice on where to eat and what to do and see in Yangon after business hours and I recommend it highly.

A decent small hotel to spend a night or two in Yangon. Not that far from the bus station and Yangon airport, but far from the city centre. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, but they forgot to mention that a late check out is not free of charge.

Excellent Stay at Union Square

I stayed at the Union Square Hotel in Yangon during my business visit in Yangon. First impression from seeing the hotel from outside was that's its a small hotel. But as soon as I stepped inside, my whole perception changed. This is a very clean, neat hotel. The staff was very welcoming. They checked me in without any hassle. The room was small, but very very clean and bright. A full kingsize bed, with closet, a smart TV. The toilet and bath were pretty big, with hot water. Because of the wifi and smart TV i could stream and watch my Indian programs. Overall a wonderful place to stay, right on the main road, providing you a variety of options for eating and travel. I highly recommend this place for any business travelers.

Clean and friendly

We had to extend our stay from 1 to 2 days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was quite small, but good aircon, kettle, fridge etc and nice and clean (and best towel sculpture ever seen! Shower-room very good and spacious.
Breakfast included and good.
However the only reason I can’t award 5* is the location - which is hard to rectify! The area has very little to recommend it apart from the Wat over the road. Have to taxi to all sights - but taxis cheap in Yangon so not a huge problem.

Wonderful hotel

This is my second time staying in this hotel on business visit with my NGO to Yangon . It's a fantastic boutique hotel , very clean and staff that go out of the way to help . Would recommend it to both business and tourists travellers . The hotel is conveniently situated for access to different parts of the city .
