Gladly again

A modern, stylish ambience. Friendly staff. Very nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet with everything you could wish for. Central location, underground parking. Make a reservation in advance by phone as the hotel is usually fully booked.

Parking reservation in the hotel garage, cancelled despite confirmation upon arrival

For several years I have always enjoyed staying at the Hotel Kneitinger. As always, I reserved a parking space in the hotel garage, which was confirmed. When I arrived this evening after a long journey, I was told that unfortunately there was no parking space in the garage for me. If I had been informed in time, I would have cancelled the hotel reservation immediately. The lady at the reception was not particularly friendly either. As a business traveler, I expect reservations to be kept. That is why I will not book the hotel again.

Wonderful Overnight!

Stopped for an overnight while visiting the Advent Market. The hotel is in easy walking distance from the train station - even with bags. The staff was gracious and helpful. The room was more than adequate. There was an enjoyable breakfast included as well.

Quiet quaint location

Located right in the old city center. Little traffic, so a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are smaller, but adequate. Multiple restaurants located very closely nearby.
The hotel has two buildings; our rooms were in the original building. The original building houses a restaurant in the front. Need to drive down the alley to the left of that building to get to the hotel entrance at the back. The new building is at the end of that alley (the name of the hotel is also on that building). The outdoor hotel parking that you pay for is also down that alley. You need to unlock the space, so it is best to temporarily park in the alley near the hotel entrance to check in, obtain the key to the lock, and then park.
Would recommend signs be placed in English as to where to check in, when only the second building is being used as a reception.
The shades in the west facing room (toward the brewery tower) should have been closed during the day as the sun was coming directly in, making the non air conditioned room super hot.
Breakfast was in the second building, with the usual array of german breakfast foods offered.
