Ascension Break.

The hotel is about half an hour from downtown. But that was not a problem. It is also located on a main road, but we had a room at the back. However, we still had to close the window when people were in the courtyard; we could understand almost every word.
The room (Deluxe) was large and beautiful, with a coffee maker and a kettle. The bed was okay, and the pillows were too.
The bathroom was also very large.
Now comes the but; we were to blame ourselves. We could choose at check-in whether we wanted to go to the room immediately or wait until three o'clock. The room that was ready was an accessible room. We decided to take the room. Everything is the same, just unfortunately the toilet flush is not. So every time you sat down, the flush went off, and when you stood up, it did again. And it was very loud, and the bathroom door is just a thin sliding glass door. So no trips to the bathroom at night!!! As I said, we were to blame ourselves.
The only thing that could be improved is the lighting in the bathroom. There needs to be better light in front of the mirror.
For the breakfast buffet. I can only say that it was amazing. We have rarely seen such a large selection of such different dishes.

Simply perfect in every respect

I am an extremely critical and for some hotels certainly demanding and challenging frequent traveler. I know what to expect and I recognize deficits immediately.
I have stayed at Leonardo in Augsburg several times - and it is (except for a tiny limitation) absolutely perfect, and such a thing rarely says:
Great location (great to reach by car and the city center is just a short walk away), underground parking (incredibly even free public parking behind the hotel!).
Beautiful rooms, extremely quiet, great facilities, sparkling clean (only downside: even with the air conditioning off there is an air supply. I find this very disturbing).
Staff extremely friendly and helpful (and everywhere, at reception and restaurant - absolutely without restriction). Incredibly service oriented and courteous.
Breakfast just as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Great selection, perfect presentation, nice seats. Small gimmick: super honey of its own feet on the hotel roof.
And: I find the prices extremely fair and decent.

Pleasant, clean city hotel with great breakfast

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at Leonardo Hotel Augsburg.
The reception was friendly. We could even check in before the specified time. The room in the 2. Floor was modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable and provided with ample pillows. Fast internet. The rain shower lets you spend a relatively long time in the shower . Coffee capsule machine available; likewise a refrigerator for various food purchases.
Drinks and various snacks can be purchased on the ground floor around the clock in a vending machine.
Breakfast was very rich. Eggs are prepared individually. Large selection of fresh fruit and cheese.
The bartender in the evening is in a good mood.
The cocktails are big and delicious.
The service is very attentive.
Underground garage large and spacious and at € 12 per night still affordable relative to other cities.
Walking distance to the city is relatively far. Twenty minutes is already scheduled. But there is a tram station in the immediate vicinity. However, this runs until about midnight and is very loud when the window is open. But hardly audible when the window is closed. Overall very pleasant stay.

Modern and comfortable hotel within walking distance of Augsburg city centre

Comfortable room with a good bed. Duvets fine but the floppy pillows that are present in many hotels nowadays; you have to fold them in half, something you never do at home.
Sliding glass door to the bathroom which lights up the whole room at night and wakes the other person up or if you do it in the dark, wakes up from flushing the toilet because you keep the door open. Not ideal, but beautiful.
There is also a mini fridge and the possibility to make 2 cups of coffee: 2 Dulce Gusto cups present. And several bags of tea. A great value for money.
At 12-15 minutes walking distance from downtown or 2-3 minutes from multiple eateries.
If you have a room on the street side (we had an odd room number), you can still hear the tram running despite the triple glass. With the window open, there is too much noise and you really have to sleep at the front with the window closed and control the temperature with the thermostat.

We stayed for one night (with a toddler) and was a lovely stay. Good sized room, clean and friendly/helpful staff. Underground on site parking was good bonus, as was the proximity to the tram station to get into the city centre.
