The second look tells us we must come back
Once in the room, I was surprised by the size of the room, but also somewhat disappointed to see such really old-fashioned decor again, especially the bathroom is very old-fashioned
But:
On the other hand, this size of the entire premises is simply phenomenal. The rooms are large, the corridors are large and when you come to the restaurant for dinner in the evening, you think you are in another world. This has really style and great and the food is really, really really good.
But, the bang is the spa area
You rarely see such a nice clean thing, you think it was all freshly painted yesterday.
Again, the cleanliness is striking

We were satisfied!
The only criticism for us at dinner was the no refilling of the food. There it would be nicer if so many guests are refilling sooner, or if there are More warming containers ready. At the delicious breakfast this went very well.
We like to come back, as Bad Alexanderbad apart from the spring and a spa park does not have much to offer, but many excursion destinations are easily accessible in the area.

would not stay there again
I award the 3 points for the following postive memories:
1. Staff at both reception and breakfast were very friendly and helpful
2. Breakfast was really good: homemade fruit salad, bread rolls from the baker, large selection, still tables with tablecloths and fresh flower
3. The room was large and is cleaned as best as possible
But that was also the case with postive aspects.
I was aware that no luxury would await me. However, I did not expect it to be so old and run down. Most of the furniture is probably from the 80s. The carpet full of stains, holes in the curtains, the desk top and also the bedside tables full of edges, the minibar removed (which is ok, but then why not close the cabinet permanently?), stains on the armchairs, one foot from the bed already broken off, bathroom still original from the opening, however, the tiles were painted once, the cabinet doors can only be pushed with great effort, the paint on the window frame peels off.
For a price of over 100 euros + tourist tax + parking, the offered product is far too expensive. I will look for an alternative in the future and would rather accept a little more driving time.
